Today, Easter Sunday, we stopped at this store for the first time in years and honestly had such a bad experience that I will literally NEVER return. I refuse to support this store with even a dime of my hard earned money bc of how we were treated. It was so bad that it was honestly like shocking how rude one of (the female) employee behind the counter was to us without reason.There were 2 women there behind the counter tonight but 1 woman seemed like she may be either the owner or owners wife based on how (confidently) rude she was to us which was so beyond uncalled for as we were so kind to her and very patient . We were standing up at the register and I had only just began looking at a few products behind the counter that I planned on purchasing..the woman handed me them since I couldn’t see the item to decide which one I wanted, when another customer walks into the store. The employee then asked us to move out of the way to serve the customer who just walked in while she was still serving us and we were there at the register in the process of making a purchase prior to the woman even arriving. I then handed her back the items and stepped aside as she asked; although I was frustrated and thought it was strange, I simply bit my tongue, let it go & tried to be patient. When the woman left, we walked back to the register to finish our transaction. My boyfriend handed the same woman 2 scratch tickets to cash in, which she then handed back to him stating “you need to scratch the bottom” I thought that was odd as that never happens usually the employee will do so themselves, but my boyfriend did as she said. He handed it back to the woman and she then says “I can’t cash this now it’s scratched too hard” . I was confused and thought she was kidding at first. To make it worse, she then starts laughing about it & looks over the the other employee who was quietly sitting on a chair behind the counter. She hands us back the ticket refusing to cash it so my boyfriend was like “are you serious?!? What do u mean? You told me to do it and now not only will you not cash it but I can’t cash it anywhere else either!” She laughed again at us. We then had to take a loss on the ticket we won on, simply because the woman didn’t do her job properly which she clearly found funny without even apologizing to us afterwards. We walked out so irritated and told her it was wrong and asked why she’s laughing and why she made us move aside to serve another customer before us. Id like to note that the other woman there, had nothing to do with the terrible customer service but I was completely shocked at how we were treated as paying customers, who were so kind to them & it was on Easter !!

It’s not good to do business there, them indians / hindu people are cheaters! I went to change a $30 winner ticket and he said i won $20 bucks. I am an educated person and i know i definitely won that $30. But he kept insisting that i won $20 which he wanted to keep $10 in his pocket. They also scam on EBT and secretly charge you an extra $1.00. If i see an hindu working in gas stations and stores, i rather deal with an American person than them !!
