Classic gentrified apartment complex. Nice countertops and cabinets but the heat goes out periodically and so does the hot water. Package got stolen and the leasing office told me they would check the cameras, just to be told the next day the cameras are “just for show” and “even if they did work the person probably covered their face.” Great response to a felony being committed on their grounds by one of their tenants. Don’t be fooled by the nice new countertops.

Move here if you support porch piracy and theft without consequences ❤️Seriously, I had hundreds of dollars worth of purchases, my birth certificate, and car stolen here. The leasing office does not care to prevent theft or pursue action against the criminals. Sure, they have a parcel pending locker, but whether or not your package makes it in there is a 50/50 shot. DO NOT MOVE HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.Otherwise this place is okay. But the unchecked theft is truly disgusting and disturbing.

Can never make contact with them. Only their 3rd party texts. I walk down there. Smells like urine and courtyard is poorly maintained. Cannot find a soul to help. I guess that decision was made for me.

Hey y’all. To whom it may concern this is a PBA (Public Service Announcement)Silver Brick Lofts is what you make it! It’s like everything in life. I’ve put in work orders and my work orders always get completed within a day of the work order. These ladies that work in the office are great! I don’t get attitude from then at all but it’s also because when I speak to them I speak to them with the upmost respect because they are the ones in position to help me and mine.Amanda is the new property manger and she’s phenomenal.Kiki is the OG of the office because she’s been there the longest. She helped me with my original showing and move in back in 2020.The other ladies like Danielle, Zulekia shoot even Julie that’s new too. These ladies are always in good spirits. I’ve been in the leasing office paying my rent and have witnessed people yelling and swearing up a storm. It’s uncalled for!Anyways it’s a great place to live. You’re in the heart if downtown. You have to take pros and cons. The train makes noise so what lol enjoy the city vibe. I’ve lived here for 3 years now and I can HONESTLY say it’s made a complete turn around for success. Danny is the Maintance man. Not their only maintenance man he’s just my favorite. Idk but these lofts are great. I’d like to thank Silver Brick Leasing office for their hard work and dedication to the tenants. Treat people with the same energy you’d like to be treated with and I bet your outlook in life and about Silver Brick Lofts will change. Me and my family will be here until we purchase our home.Thank you Silver Brick Lofts!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. This review is specifically for Amanda and Kimaira. They are doing an absolutely TERRIBLE job. They allow homeless people in and out of the building all day long. We have had COUNTLESS packages stolen and the leasing office does absolutely NOTHING. They say they put cameras in the building but when you ask them to check them, they tell you they are not working and the stop responding. The elevators are constantly not working. The doors are constantly broken causing them to leave them unlocked for anyone and everyone to walk right into the building. They leave the doors propped open because that’s the best idea when their janky key fob system isn’t working. Why have a parcel box if it’s not going to be enforced for the delivery services to use it?There is countless pet feces throughout the building, leasing office does nothing. The hallways smell. The hallway rugs look like they have been through h*ll and back, they do nothing. Trash piles up and there are flies everywhere.Need to call the leasing office? You are better off mopping your floors with a toothbrush because not only do they not answer, but when they do they are useless. They don’t help. They are rude. Every single one of them.Need to do laundry? Google the closest laundry mat because the machines NEVER work. They don’t get cleaned. They are absolutely disgusting and dirty. There is no way they are cleaning anything in the odd chance that they are working. We had water literally leaking from our ceiling from the apartment above us, NO RESPONSE from the leasing office. They are ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! And I will tell every single person I come in counter with. Any time I see a tour going on from here on out, I will let the prospective tenants know not to move in here. They do whatever they can to get you in and then leave you high and dry. This place sucks so bad lol.I say all of that to say, the one star goes to the maintenance and trash team ONLY. Everyone in the leasing office needs to be fired and replaced with people that actually care.

This place is an absolute joke. There is nothing “luxury” about living here. The staff at the leasing office is beyond rude and unhelpful. We have had THOUSANDS of dollars of packages stolen and the office refuses to do anything about it. They act like they have way more pressing matters, yet nothing is ever updated or done around these buildings. LOL The other tenants leave trash and pet waste everywhere. I will say, the trash and maintenance guys are great. They are probably the only thing holding this place together. You’re lucky if the laundry machines all work at once and if they do the machines smells like mold and mildew. Oh but if you’re a train enthusiast, you can delight in hearing the train horn at all hours of the night. Oh last thing, we have been both physically and verbally assaulted by other tenants on several occasions, which (you guessed it!) the office does nothing about. Save yourself the trouble, headache, absolute NIGHTMARE and rent somewhere else. It honestly amazes me these people are still in business.

I want to give them one star. But Maintenance is great here. That's about it on positive things with this place. For the price they charge, management is super unhelpful and often down right rude. mail is constantly stolen; they also refuse to look at their cameras when mail is stolen (I know this because we have a USPS investigation going and they said it got delivered. They office said no package was delivered.) I try calling to get help but I rarely if evet get through. They also never return calls if you leave a message.I don't plan on renewing my lease and I wouldn't recommend signing.

The management of this building is very poor. Proper maintenance is hard to come by with this apartment group. I have had multiple issues with leakage and appliances - the maintenance workers either lie and say they fixed it or do not come at all. The lease states that a secure building is ensured for building tenants however this is completely incorrect. The front doors fail to lock and respectively can let any outside into the building without using a special code to get in. The countless amount of homeless population that I have seen in the lobby of the building and have followed me into the building due to the lack of security is inexplainable. To add onto the poor security, my packages have been stolen as well. I received a package but was out so I came to get the package 40 minutes later however it wasn't there. So I went to the Silver Brick office to ask for security footage and they claimed that they do not have access to cameras but own the building...? None of this make up for the rent that I pay every month for my apartment on top of being harassed by Springfield parking authority for parking a car with a different plate in the parking garage which I pay $90 for monthly. All of the things that occur at Silver Brick is unacceptable and management does not give a care in the world about any of their tenants.

I don’t know about the past management property team but the current one is amazing. I’ve been living here for 2 months already and right from the start they made sure my move in process was smooth as possible, every concern has been addressed. My rep was Genesis, and they all know each tenant and they make you feel welcome. Every building has a custodial person cleaning every day even during the weekend. If you need something fixed, in less than 24 hrs they make sure it’s done. Trash room is cleaned every day as well. The management team work so hard because sometimes tenants are not cooperative. I believe if you move here and you care where you live this will be a great fit for you. Picture of the little welcome package ❤️

Whenever we ask the secretary to help or leave a note she makes it really hard to get a message to them and she lives a building. I don't know why they don't help and don't try to do more for us we have a streak down our wall from a resident dying and the blood came down the street it still there and they haven't painted the rest of the wall since February and haven't reimbursed the damages since they only gave us not enough to replace whatever we needed. Our bamboo sheet cover was worth 300 since it came from the big E and they only gave us 25 percent of it.

I live in Sliver Brick for two years and it has it’s up and down like all places do. But you as a tenant is what makes the experience on how you live. I don’t have no problems where I’m at other then paying monthly for parking but that just be all downtown areas. The office and the ladies in there are very welcoming especially to the LGBT/Trans community and maintenance does there best to fix all the problems when something happens. Other then that im satisfied where i live ?

I wish I could give them a zero. Terrible place to live. Leasing office never picks up, electricity always goes out in my apartment and no one ever responds. Super expensive for no reason. Water is always cold. I could go on and on about why you shouldn’t live here.
