Delightful experience as part of the museum admission about the author Dr Seuss.Bruce the security guard is an amazingly knowledgeable member of staff who helped give context about the exhibits and some interesting history about what we see to really appreciate it all!Developing reading skills is important. Support better funding for public schools for everyone!

Of all of the wondrous magical wids,This is the best place to ignore your kids.Yes, someday they will be old and grown,But for now, take a break, and stare at your phone. For the kids will be safe in this Dr. Suess dream,While you ponder a trade for your fantasy team.

The Dr. Seuss Museum was a good time for both young and old visitors. There are plenty of things to play with for the younger visitors on the main and lower floors. For the older visitors, the upstairs section of the museum has a lot of information about the early life of Dr. Seuss along with various letters, notes, and other non-book writings that give more insight into the man behind the books. The whole museum can be seen in an hour or less.

I'm a huge Dr. Seuss fan, and this is a good collection, *for adults*, but not worth $25. (Maybe $10. This is an unfortunate dilemma of small museums.) The interactive stuff for kids on the first floor is also pretty lame, and only minimally Seuss-related, so I doubt most kids would find the space compelling.(I know the $25 covers the other nearby museums too, but the science museum is terrible. I didn't see the art museum.)

MY GRANDCHILDREN HAD SO MUCH FUN. THE TEAM WHO PUT THE MUSEUM TOGETHER DID AN AMAZING JOB. (ALAMANCE COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA NEEDS A MUSEUM LIKE THIS. WE HAVE KID CITY, BUT WE NEED MORE FOR OUR CHILDREN)

My children loved it. Was very crowded during their halloween event. My autistic 4 year old loved the lite brite wall and they mirrors and the abstract colors on there. My 9 year old and 2 year old enjoyed taking pictures with the statues and doing some of the activities I did get my autistic 4 year old to do the headphones where it reads out loud the dr.seuss book.

The kids love this museum and the other museums around it! There is always a craft for the kids in the lower level. It is a little pricey so if you live in the area I would look into the annual pass because it gives you access to other museums around the state too. And if you go to this museum twice (depending on the age of the kids) then it pays for itself and is definitely worth it.

First, to mention, as per the signs, your children are not supposed to climb on any of the statues.I'm thrilled to tell you that the Dr. Seuss Museum is free! I had the best time exploring the museum without waiting in any lines. Although some rooms were more crowded than others, I had a blast checking out all the fantastic activities available for kids and adults. While the museum has a lot of information and pictures, it's filled with many whimsical statues that made me smile. Overall, it was an incredibly joyful experience that I'll never forget! The guides were beneficial and informative. (Except the one guide upstairs who tried to hit on my sister ?)Upstairs, there is a room displaying Dr. Seuss's family tree. Photography and videography are strictly prohibited in this room due to the absence of copyrights. However, you are free to capture images and videos in all other rooms.Lastly. YOUR KIDS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO CLIMB OR PLAY ON THE STATUES AS PER THE SIGNS!

Fabulous tourist destination in a lovely European-style square setting - both this museum and the surrounding city are well worth a visit. My daughter is nine, and we both enjoyed the statues and the exhibits inside the museum (the information about young "Ted's" life is particularly fascinating!).

Fun and interesting. The kid's fun areas are downstairs, with rooms decorated with images and colors of his books. There are some things for small hands to do. The memorabia from the life of Theodore Seuss and history is mainly upstairs. Includes some of his correspondence, he had a great sense of humor and irony. As someone who read Dr Seuss to my kids, I loved it.

If you have kids, just go it’s great. Lots of photo opportunities, things to keep them occupied for an hour. Great to pair with the history museum.

AMAZING!! Cannot say enough good things. We stopped on our family RV vacation and needed to park our rig in one of the museum lots…the parking attendant was amazing, helped us find a spot and made sure we didn’t get blocked in. He was the nicest man (visited 7/24/23) also it is free for active duty military and family which we so appreciated. My kids loved the Seuss museum and the history museum was an unexpected gem. So much cool history. And a life-size candy land game! 10/10 recommend the Springfield museums!

As an educator, I enjoyed learning about the man who we honor for a week every March. I read a lot of interesting facts about Dr. Seuss. There was also a security guard there who voluntarily guided me around and told me so many fun facts about Dr. Seuss. He was very knowledgable. Look for Paul if you decide to visit! I typically associate Dr. Seuss almost like being another character in a book, because we hear about him often but seldom see him. The museum brings Dr. Seuss to life. Kids would have a blast here. Adults with no interest or connection to Dr. Seuss won’t.
