My 5 star review starts with the online experience. Extremely user friendly. Didn't have to make a trip for nothing, vaccine was in stock, unlike other pharmacies whose websites don't tell you until you go in person.Staff at check in was extremely personable as was the pharmacist who administered the vaccine. I would gladly change to Walgreens if my insurance will allow. I will be following up.

Regarding the Walgreens pharmacy @ 1919 Wilbraham Rd., Springfield, MA When I take the last pill of my prescriptions I normally just go over to the pharmacy and they are ready for pick-up. Yesterday, 12/23/21.... for whatever reason, I decided to call first. I spoke to a female pharmacist who quite obviously has a personality problem and should work at a job where she doesn't have to come into contact with people, or be placed in a training program to learn the art of good customer service and how to speak to people in a pleasant manner! She told me I had no more refills, that the pharmacy had "faxed" the doctor's office, did NOT say which doctor, and had received a reply that I had to call the doctor's office. I said I thought that was odd and she very curtly told me that I probably had to have a "check-up" in order to get another prescription. REALLY????? That was even more odd as I had just seen more than one doctor over the past couple of months and this has NEVER happened before. I first called my PC doctor's office and after explaining what I had been told, they too thought it was pretty odd. I then called my cardiologist's office, spoke to a very nice woman there who said she was sorry I had been treated in such a manner and the problem was, THEY DO NOT ACCEPT FAXES FOR PRESCRIPTION REFILLS, THEY NEED A PHONE CALL FROM THE PHARMACY. The pharmacist had neglected to tell me any of that! I called the pharmacy back, told that pharmacist what I had been told, she continued to be belligerent and VERY nasty and told me they didn't have time to call a doctor's office to request a refill because quote, "we'd be on the phone all day long and we don't have time for that!" Quite possibly NOT every doctor's office requires a phone call, will accept a fax so in this case as far as that pharmacist was concerned, the H-E-L-L with this person! She wasn't about to spend 3 minutes or so requesting a refill authorization, that would take far too much time out of her miserable life! My refills were called in within the hour by one of my doctors and all of this aggravation could have been avoided if that nasty hateful woman had told me in the beginning what she had been told....and it was NOT that I had to go for a "check-up" in order to get refills but that one particular doctor's office did not accept fax requests for prescription refills and she COULD have taken less than 5 minutes of her time to CALL for that refill!! Short update: Just looked at one of the empty bottles of one of the two prescriptions that needed to be refilled yesterday and I see that one of the prescriptions has "3 refills before 9/13/22 ! The nasty pharmacist failed to mention that and could have said....IF SHE KNEW HOW TO.... "there is one that is refillable but one needs an authorization by the doctor, you might want to give them a call for that. But, nasty and hateful seems to be her way of communicating.

It is 9:56 PM I left my home at 9:50 pm to go grab some fabric sheets I pull in the parking lot even though they close at 10 o'clock when I pulled in the parking lot I see the manager and one of the coworkers agitated that I am pulling in the parking lot I watched a manager stomp around and have a small tantrum I decided to pull off and go home I shop here quite frequently and it really is kind of annoying that people have to act like that the manager that was there before was definitely a better manager than the current one

Walgreens on Cooley St. In Springfield, MA has the worse service ever. For many years I filled our prescriptions at the East Longmeadow, MA pharmacy with never a problem and always received fast and friendly service. When Right-Aid became Walgreens on Cooley St. in Springfield, MA it was much closer so we switched. Big mistake and terrible very slow service. I refilled a prescription and two days later they still had not prepared it. My husband's doctor phoned in a Rx and four hours later it still wasn't ready. Time to change pharmacies.

Most inefficient pharmacy I have experienced in any drugstore. Wait 15minutes to pickup scripts that were promised only to be told they hadn't even started them.
