I came in for the first time today wanting a balayage and cut, but not knowing much about the process. Sarah was amazing helping me decide what would be best and teaching me about the process and how to maintain it. She did a beautiful balayage/cut and made sure I was comfortable throughout my time. The owner even introduced herself and gave me a little gift as a first time client. I highly recommend coming here, especially if it’s your first hair dye.

Erica did an amazing job with my hair today and I am thrilled! The moment she started asking questions about the cut I wanted, I immediately relaxed because she was asking all of the right things, and the finished product shows me she was really listening.

Erica and Abby are amazing! My mom and I were traveling into Massachusetts for a mid-week wedding and needed hair and makeup done on a Thursday morning. With limited options, I took my chances on calling The Maven and the Muse to see if they could take us early - Erica was extremely accommodating and booked us right away. Our hair and makeup looked great all day long (and was very affordable!!) Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend!! Both David and Erica gave me a warm welcome as a new customer and truly made it a personalized experience. David really took the time to understand what I wanted and what would suit me best. I've never had a stylist who was so detailed and meticulous, where I did not feel rushed. My haircut is absolutely stunning and the blow-out still looks amazing the next day! It was worth the extra money for the calligraphy cut. I will definitely be coming back again!

I was a first-time client and had to bring my young son with me due to a last-minute schedule change, so I wasn’t sure how things would go. At first, I could tell Kailah was a little unsure too, but she listened closely to what I wanted and said, “OK, let’s do it!” From there, the experience was great. She gave me helpful advice throughout and really made sure I was happy with the result.
The owner also took a moment to introduce herself, which was such a nice gesture - and then surprised me with some product samples and a branded thank you note. Such a classy touch!
Overall, I left feeling really satisfied with the service. They made a great impression, and they’ve secured a new client. Highly recommend!

I love how flexible Sarah is. I change my hairstyle at least once a year and she never fails me. This time was no exception. She spent over 2 hours perming my hair and I love it.

This was my first time at this salon. Grace is so inviting and makes you comfortable, from the time she greets you, all the way up until your appointment ends. I really appreciate how she pleasantly took time to consult, beforehand, about the coloring process/options.
