I brought in an item to dry mount. First, they told me (after two days) that the machine wasn't working. The next day they said it was finished. They tried to pass off the glue mounting that they did as dry mounting. It definitely was not. (I should know. I used to do dry mounting myself.) Hame on them!

This store is NOT closed! I just shopped at it yesterday! I was looking for a baking item for Christmas and I was shocked they still had a lot of good Christmas items left. I scooped up a few items on clearance that were amazing! Great store, always clean and the staff is pretty friendly!

Framing Department is the best. I work in pastels and bring all my pieces to this store for framing. They help me pick out the most complementary frames and matting. They have great taste in color and style and I rely on them to help make my paintings even better

Absolutely amazing work ? I uploaded a photo to them from my cell and had it framed- When I went to pick it up, I was amazed at the attention to detail and it was exactly what i had hoped for! ? perfect! The lady who was working there was unlimitedly devoted to achieve my satisfaction ? She was also so professional and patient with all my questions.... and I had a lot of them ? If you ever need help in the frame shop then definitely ask for Pat, she has a determination to create exactly what you're looking for. Thanks Pat and Aaron Brothers/Michael's❗

Lots of stuff but seemed like junk. Nothing for diy stuff that I can pick at. 4 stars because I found graphic paper exactly what I was looking for one large one and one medium sized half off in clearance. I could've sworn they were put those there for me to snag and they have 05 Sakura pens. Very expensive but online coupons sometimes give up to 50% off so I would've paid only $10 for 6 or 7 pens.

This is my first time to this location and WOW! By far THE largest Cricut supply section I've ever seen! The prices were great and the store was well stocked. Definitely will be coming back.

Had a great experience with the framing department. Wanitta was so great and patient. She is great at what she does, you can tell she loves her job and that always makes any experience great.

Large store. They have changed the layout from my last visit. Seems things aren't coordinated/grouped well. I had to hunt for the frames I was looking for (frames are in one row, to back walls across the aisle in more racks. They just need to be in one condensed area. ) Had to ask were another item was. Not many salespeople in the store. I found someone in the back frame office who helped. They didn't have the snowflake puncher in the size I wanted. So off to the registers with my 5 frames, I finally found, thinking I was getting 55% off like the email said. The clerk said the 55% off was only for certain subcategories within that brand of frame. Bummer right? The assistant was great and said she would give me the 55% off! Great customer service.

This is a great Michaels location. Medium sized store with loads of products. While the staff is small, I actually prefer it because I usually know what I need and where to find it, so I don't like being talked to in store. And they're always generous w coupons!

Fantastic Store(IN MY OPINION; people don't ever seem to realise this)! To start off, I would like to contrast the current 2 other reviews in mine. Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that. "Sheldon C," you can't even take the person for serious since that is clearly the alias of Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory. Now "Shedlon," if you're imitating him, you're doing a good job. That said, you should stop doing so, as anyone looking at your profile will label you as either a troll or some other non-user friendly things. Sorry, that's just the truth. "Brandon K.'s" main gripes were short staff, mediocre stock, no black canvases, and a low quantity of wood products. During my visit, the stock was reasonably sized, albeit I was only looking for specific products when I went. There were only about 3 staff members I saw during my visit(someone stocking, I believe another was returning carts or something similar, and the cashier(more on her later, bear with me)), I have no clue if there are black canvases, but during my visit, there was at least an entire isle dedicated to wood products. Maybe try Home Depot, idk. Now, I specifically went to get EVA foam and something to create a frame with. I found that after a lengthy search due to the lack of staff(no biggie, I'm a very independent person). It was peaceful in comparison to say, Walmart, so the atmosphere fits perfectly in my opinion. When I got to the register, there was only 1 person tending to customers. Rachel, I believe the name was. I got to her register and we did the 'ol "hello, how are you?" "Oh, good and yourself," yada yada yada customer service 101. I was able to get a relatively generous discount applied, very grateful of that(I really appreciate it). The total was like $8 and I was on my merry way. Very pleased with the service and store. Now let's clear the elephant in the room. 4 stars, not 5. Why? That cashier of yours was the only one tending customers. What about when the days get busy? C'mon Michael's, give that girl a raise, huh? Especially when it's a customer service job. I know how stupidly stressful that can be when you get paid like minimum wage. But aside from that, good store and great employee, she deserves more honestly. And as Arnold once said, "I'll be back."

The help isnt that great and not very knowledgeable. Basically you need to fend for yourself, the pricing seems to change daily with the coupons,so if you see something on sale or clearance get it, if you go tomorrow the sale might be gone. The checkout girl with the nose ring seems to have an attitude, dealt with her 3 times already not impressed, she shouldnt be dealing with the public.

Michaels just opened, and to say I was disappointed with the outcome of the Stoughton location is an understatement. This location just opened from the old, run down location in Avon, and is open in Stoughton in a newer, more-suited-for-Michaels kind of building where Bed Bath & Beyond used to be. The store is nice, and has all the normal departments of a Michaels. But for being a brand new store, I was expecting something like my local Michaels, which opened around a year ago (in Westwood). This wasn't it. This place was busy, understaffed, and didn't really have anything special about it. It doesn't compare to the hugeness of the Westwood location, and still doesn't even carry some of the the items they sell. In addition, some of the staff at the checkout area (there are only like two anyway) don't know how to handle a Jo-Ann Fabric or AC Moore coupon, which I've never heard of in all of my years of shopping at various Michaels. The only real benefits of this location are the large parking lot and the fact they carried one new wood product that was cool (and I've never seen before). If you haven't stopped in yet, don't rush down to come to the Stoughton location.....It's nothing special. Better than Avon, but average in comparison to other Michaels locations. 3 stars for this new store. Update: 11/8/16 : More stock, more help and more selection. Definitely more of what I was expecting from this store! Nicole, the manager, is awesome by the way! Definitely deserves an upgrade of 4 stars from 3! Update: May 2017 : Very disappointed with my recent experience. This a huge, gigantic Michaels and they don't even carry black canvases or an extensive selection of wood products. They gave me an excuse that they carry another type of canvas that most other Michaels stores don't have, but I still don't buy it. Sure, if the Braintree Michaels didn't carry these I would understand, that store is tiny, but here is another story. Very few staff at checkout regularly, and consistent long lines. Issues with coupons... they don't like accepting the Jo-Ann ones if they don't have a date on the coupon. For heavens sake, I used the coupon at both the Michaels in Westwood and in Mansfield on this very day and neither had any issue. Called the store to complain and nearly a week later the manager has not followed up. Go to the Westwood or Mansfield Michaels. The selection is much better, the staff are better and at both of those locations you won't have to argue to use a coupon or wait in line for forever. Even though this store is nice, I'm really missing the Avon Michaels that was smaller but still carried a full assortment of products. 2 stars. Hopefully I can update again with more positive news!
