Beware shop owner is a crook! Went for an AC recharge as my car is old. Charged me $85 as friendly new customer price normally it was $115 waited for 10 minutes in the parking lot while they did this. Worked on the way into work was dead on the ride home. Brought it back to make sure it was done correctly and no leaks. He looked at it and it worked again said no leaks. Again it worked for 1 drive then didn't work. Said he would normally charge me to recheck the system but since I was there the day before he said he would waive it. Then told me it sounds like the compressor was going and it was going to cost $1300-1400 to replace.
This didn't make any sense since the system did work for at least 1 day. If it was the compressor it wouldn't work at all. I thought it was a leak. Anyways took it to a family friend who works on cars. He said Shell overcharged the system this is why the compressor was not kicking on to avoid being damaged. He bled the system and recharged it correctly for $50. Has been ice cold ever since.
Their gas is overpriced cash prices is the same as everyone else credit card price. The shell on cobbs corner charges the same credit price as this cash price.

I have been coming here for a little over a decade, now and I want to give a shout out to the morning man here, Adib. He brings positivity to every day.
I often stop here for a snack to bring to work on the commuter rail, and sometimes chat a little if it is quiet.
It's just a gas station, you say? Well, it makes for a pleasant pit stop, something you don't see every day.

Bunch of crook heads , do not go there for inspections , they have no knowledge about sport cars tire profiles , they gonna give you rejection sticker , for perfectly normal sport tires, and will say it is illegal . Stupid !!! 120K sport car ! - they say the tires are illegal ! Should be gone to Mercedes Benz dealership for basic inspections , that is what happening when unprofessional people cause inconveniences and losses to others .???

I am new to this Shell Gas Station Mechanic Department and I have nothing but great things to say about Gabi. I have been to other mechanics that did a rush job on my car and attaching parts wrong making my car operate very poorly until I met Gabi. My cousin, who knows Gabi well introduced me to him and he corrected all the wrong that other mechanics did to my car. Now because of Gabi my car is running great. I have chosen Gabi as my mechanic and I highly recommend him to anyone. He took the time to do a diagnostic test on my car and fixed the problem at a great price. Went for an inspection. Failed me due to front end issue that he wouldn't identify and hairline crack on rear taillight lens and wiper blade. Brought car down the street to another station and was verified that front end is tight as drum and he'd never fail anyone for that hairline crack that doesn't even come near the bulb. Owner will forbid you to enter garage (I get that) except when it came time to pay I could gladly walk in to hand him my credit card. Scammers to the max, you've been warned.

If you are looking for an honest and skilled mechanics you can trust, then look no further! I can’t recommend Stoughton shell enough! Great customer service, unbeatable prices and reliable work, had a great experience all around. After looking around town for a decent price, The manager Gabi got me a great deal on tires and brakes/pads. They were also running a promo and I got an $50 gas gift card. This place definitely goes above and beyond. A new happy customer For life!

Beware! Over priced. Went there to get a price on 2 tires. Went to a couple different ones after. This place wanted to charge me almost 150 more. My father took his car there for an exhaust. Next day car wasn't running right. Brought it back and now they say it has other problems. Hmmmm, nothing wrong when it was brought for an exhaust then the next day, there are problems. Just beware. Always get a second opinion !!

years ago i bought two cars from this exact location first one overheated constantly even after they fixed it multiple times (a lemon) and i was offered a second car, wasn’t even a year later and that car had the same issue and broke down on me.
