I have been a customer since movingto Sturbridge 4 yrs ago. The shoppe is filled with lovely & unique items.Sylvia & her staff treat u like friends & are always very helpful.Over the years I have brought everyonewho comes out to Sturbridge to visit to Chickadees. Like all the shoppes as well as Sturbridge Village, it is the totalSturbridge experience.

I am a crafter who displays a variety of items at Chickadees. I was traveling from Maine down to Massachusetts and made a point of visiting Chickadees. I was impressed at how beautifully the items I made were displayed.I decided to do some early Christmas shopping and wound up buying gifts for half the people on my list. I found great wind chimes, bird baths, jewelry, solar lights and many great hand crafted items from local crafters. I believe in supporting local businesses as well as their local crafters.The owner and staff at Chickadees go out of their way to be helpful.I just love Chickadees and I will be going back on my next trip to Massachusetts.

I've received gifts from Chickadees Sturbridge before, and I've always been delighted! There also have some beautiful photography from Maine, some of which we have hanging in our home. Definitely worth stopping in for a visit!

I was traveling through Sturbridge, MA and was fortunate to stop into a small gift shop named Chickadees Gift Shop of Sturbridge. It had a selection of gifts made by local artisans, including beautiful wildlife photography, miniature glass collectibles, very colorful hanging plants, glass birdbaths and other garden items and very reasonably priced
selection of jewelry. I bought several items for gifts. The owner was in the shop and was very helpful, showing me around pointing out some of the more unique items. I was particularly impressed with the enamel on copper pieces. She also gave me some recommendations for good places to eat. I would highly recommend visiting this quaint shop on your next trip to Sturbridge.
