This store is located just outside the main entrance to Old Sturbridge Village. The store is your typical tourist trap store selling trinkets, shirts, hats, jams, etc. as souvenirs of your visit to the village. The prices are inflated compared to what you would pay elsewhere and not worth it. The mercantile also has a food court area where you can buy fudge, cookies, premade sandwiches and wraps, and yogurt cups as well as different types of drinks. There is also a large sitting area to enjoy those food and drink items you just purchased or simply a place to take a rest from walking around the village. The inside of the mercantile is well maintained and very clean. There are also restrooms located within the same building.

What would we do without this place?!
Today was so so hot, and the village is free for Juneteenth but there is no AC in most buildings and using a walker on the sand was exhausting. This place has fresh ice tea and real lemonade and wraps and cookies…
So needed this.
Glad they also have a shop IN the village with tea and AC.

Amazing shop! What I love most is it is open to the public, you can shop and go to the cafe even if you aren’t visiting the village. Incredible selection, it changes inventory pretty often so I am always finding incredible gifts, decor, and more.

Wasn't too impressed with the re-branding of the OSV gift shop. The store area is smaller and things seem over-priced. We miss the bookstore that was attached to the gift shop before. Now it's being turned into a cafe.
