Lady with the pink hair working online pick up on 6/7/2025 at 12:24/1 pm was the rudest lady I’ve ever encountered at this store and absolutely does not care about customer service or stop and shops reputation. I am now a big y customer for life because of her

Update: I spoke with the customer service manager who is very kind and said they are actively working on this amongst retraining employees. Very glad to get the call.
Two lane with a cashier were open (4pm on a Saturday not busy so that is not the issue). I went to the one closest to me and neither had lines to find out when I unloaded half my cart I was told the register was closed girl and had walked away. She was there at the register when I walked in the lane and the light was on. very disappointed and irritated. the lady that I checked out with was very nice, but I shouldn’t have had to put everything back into my cart that I already unloaded before and could have said something to me prior to unloading my cart as we made eye contact in the lane. The light was on when I went into that line. Also have had issues with the Stop & Shop prior that were resolved with the manager who was kind. I wish I wouldn’t have constant issues, as sadly this is my closest stop and shop location as if i could do my routine shopping at a different location… i would.

Prices seem so much higher than other companies' selection is ok. I felt like I did not get a good value for the money we spent.

If I could actually carry my groceries out of the store without having to pay for bags, especially now that they're using paper bags and all the other stores give paper bags for free cuz they are recyclable!!!!!

Been a customer for almost 30 years , the last 5 in Sturbridge MA , I've tried several different markets and I've never been more satisfied than the selection and the staff at this store , not only are they extremely friendly and courteous but they go above and beyond to help , I know most of the staff on a first name basis and actually they make a tedious task enjoyable , highly recommended anyone to give it a try
