I always thought the gas was reasonable priced, but the pumps are always EXTREMELY slow. They never do anything about it. Nobody wants to take any accountability and the guy just keeps tell everyone that he's not sure why they're so slow. HELLLLOOOOOO, how about you take some initiative and FIND OUT WHY! Jeeesh, that's a real brain-buster! What is wrong with people. I was there this weekend and everyone was so upset that the pumps were taking so slow, that many of them were leaving. The lady next to me was there for 10 minutes and it hadn't even pumped 1 gallon of gas. I was probably there for about 25 minutes!
This isn't even the real problem. The problem is that they have issues with their gas pumps that are hazardous and unsafe to people and the environment. This is the second time that the pump didn't stop and gas just started pouring out all over my car and the ground. The first time that this happened, I thought that maybe it was just a defective nozzle on the pump. I also caught it right because I heard it spill out onto the ground.
However, this time, I didn't realize that the gas was overflowing and pouring all over my car and all over the ground. When I finally realized it, I wasted about $5.00 and there was a huge puddle of gas surrounding me and running all the way into the parking lot. I didn't notice it because it was raining and water was already hitting the ground so it wasn't like the gas pour on the ground was louder or noticeable. Plus, it didn't just smack onto the ground - it poured down over my car and then formed a puddle partly beneath my car and around my feet and into the parking lot. Also, my car is black and it was already wet so it was near impossible to see the gas pouring out.
I didn't realize it until I was looking at the gallons and the price going up and I already had half a tank of gas. My tank is 14 gallons and it was nearing 12 gallons. Then, I looked down, again, and faintly saw the gas pouring down my car and a huge puddle around my feet, but again it was raining and already wet.
But then I looked behind me and saw a huge puddle of gas and a stream rapidly running into the parking lot.
I went into the Gas Station to inform this older, skinnier man because I felt that it was unsafe and a fire hazard, but the guy just blew me off. I asked if it was okay to drive my car and he just shrugged and rolled his eyes and said, "Yeh", in a tone like I'm a moron and just being dramatic. However, he did absolutely nothing.
Then, he proceeded to interrogate me and ask if I try to force the gas in, once the pump stops. He's like, "Don't lie to me! Be honest!" I felt harassed and violated! I don't do this! When the pump clicks, I pull out the nozzle. Then he says, "Come on - tell the truth - even I do it!"
Then, he tried saying that it was my car and that some regulator valve was not working. He was using every excuse in the book and not taking any accountability! It is NOT my car because I go to other gas stations often and it never happens and has not happened since. Also, another person said that this happened to them last week.
There is definitely an issue with their pumps - between the gas coming out abnormally slow and not stopping when gas tanks are full. This is a serious issue!
How do you expect to stay in business when you treat your customers so poorly, don't maintain your gas pumps in a highly volatile and hazardous situation and just blow it off and not even have any concern or do anything about it???
I then asked if I could get some sort of a refund for the $5.00 or something for the wasted gas - Not to mentioned that it damaged the paint on my car! And he just said , "No! Yeah, right!" in a sarcastic voice and when I left, he said, "Have a great day, Mer

Later in the year i left my wallet on the counter at the gas station..i called within 15 min of getting home and the employee told me it wasnt there..I went there a half hr.after that to check again and he said the same thing..i know i left it on counter. It was the last place i have been..I wrote down my info and gave it to the employee and to contact me if anything came up..The next morning i went there again and a really nice girl was working and told her what happened and she said i will take your number down, and i told her the kid working last night did...She went to look and said he didnt leave anything..The police have asked the OWNER several times for the camera footage and still havent received anything..The police said he has every excuse in the book to not give it..The OWNER has NOT contacted me since this has happened because he does not want to be responsible for the issue..,.That told me everything..The police have been wonderful and turns out 2 people were caught on camera using my credit cards at a couple different places..The police sent me a pic of the thieves using one of my cards at walmart and guess what???The kid working at the gas station was one of them..They caught the one and he and his mom are not giving up name of the other suspect..the one that works at sturbridge gas..i lost money ,gift cards, pics of family that are irreplaceable..i hope karma is real and it finds the OWNER of sturbridge gas...And finds him well.

I can’t thank Main Street Auto Repair enough for saving me late Friday afternoon. I was facing a water pump issue just as I was preparing to leave the next day for the Pan-Mass Challenge. They were able to fix my water pump in just two hours and returned my car to me in perfect condition. They were an absolute savior. Highly recommend their prompt and efficient service!

I drove 45 minutes from Holyoke to get gas here because the prices are excellent and I pulled up at five minutes of 10 and the lights are off. The pumps are shut down and the person who is supposed to be working is taking off in his car. do not say you’re open until 10 PM if you are not! Hire people that take responsibility seriously. This happened Friday night. March 29. I am disgusted.

The gas station has cheap gas, but the real gem is the automotive repair facility they have in the back. Those guys are top notch. Highly recommended for their quality, honesty, and ability to work with your budget. Any time I have any issue with my vehicles I call these guys 1st

This was the place we found the cheapest gas when we were in town. They have food, snack and drinks for sale inside. They also sell alcohol.
