We have been going to this animal hospital for many years and have had so many great experiences especially with some not always friendly at the vet pets! But they did an exceptional job yesterday of helping my kiddos through the tough process of putting down our cat. They offered so many options and were so flexible as it was sudden and we needed to make sure our kids got to say goodbye. The compassion they give us all is always really amazing. Honest, caring and just as compassionate with the owners as the pets! ❤️❤️❤️

STAY AWAY. These people only care about money, would not help my dog despite knowing how sick he was or do ANY testing (while demanding hundreds of dollars), and after he died continued to send reminders for check ups for him. *THEY SENT SEVERAL CHECK UP REMINDERS FOR MY DECEASED DOG. DO NOT GO HERE.* They do not treat your pets like family, they treat you and your family like a paycheck. The lack of respect and human decency is disturbing and unsettling, your pets deserve better.

I can't say enough about the Sutton Animal Hospital. It wasn't enough that they were so sympathetic and understanding when we said goodbye to two of our beloved pets, or even through out our entire time dealing with their issues. Today we received a very nice sympathy card with a personal message inside. A class act from start to finish.

One of the worst experiences at a place of bussines I ever had. They were great in offering to see my dog very last minute, but once we arrived everything went south. --- we were from out of town, dog started having severe allergy reactions. They take the 30lb 14year old pup inside by himself. About 7-10min later they bring him out and he's clearly agitated. The assistant is asking me to help them put a muzzle on him. My dog snaps at me, it took no more then 2min to calm him down and for me to regain control over his emotions. I finally am putting the muzzle on him and The main Dr at that same moment comes out shouting they won't see us and demanded that I leave right away.--- I push back, asking her to reconsider. She scolds me and perceived my attempt to change her mind as being "argumentative". Short of begging, I tell her "you can hear the shaking in my voice, I care for my dog and I know he'll be suffering this weekend without extra medication!" - She continues to scold me and says she can give me a sedative NOW but I can't come back. ---The other clients waiting in the lot showed me immidiate compassion offering alternative vets to try along with even CBD style treats to buy to help until I'm able to get a proper vet!I never met a person so callus and afraid.Today I finally found a Vet in my local town who understood the severity of the pain & fear my dog was feeling. This vet had a strong assistant, allowed me inside as well and we finally got the help my old dogo needed!

I run a dog rescue. I ALWAYS check on folks' veterinary references. I asked the potential adopter to advise the vet hospital that we call for basic information: Spay/ Neuter, do the clients come for visits, vaccinate, keep the dog on Heart worm prevention--REALLY Basic stuff. Client calls hospital... advises that the rescue will be calling and allows consent to speak to us; They want to adopt a dog from us. We call to ask the few basic questions and the poor receptionist is being YELLED at on the phone that ONLY THE VET can speak to us... and give any records....... WHA???? Why ???? What a controlling thing to do..... We just want to be sure that our pups land in responsible hands.. caring and loving homes ... Stop yelling at your poor receptionist. I'll bet they have a high turn over for employees too! No One has the right to yell at you Miss Receptionist. I don't care WHO they are! And DR control, your CLIENT is consenting to you to speak (generally) to us about their past vet history. WHO ARE YOU TO DENY Them!?? I will also bet that the client will find a new vet to travel to. I would.

Sutton Animal Hospital is the best. The staff is always awesome, competent, and compassionate, and when we've needed to make major decisions about our pet's care the vets always tell us the options and let us know what they would do if it were their dog.

Great care, friendly staff, and they go out of their way to be accommodating. Happy to have found Sutton Animal Hospital when we moved to the area.
