Due to joint issues and surgeries I have been to a few different PT centers, but this office is by far the best and the only one in this area I would recommend to family and friends. I am currently working with Patricia M. With Patricia's coaching, guidance and support, I met and exceeded all my goals for PT. I went in feeling weak, deconditioned, out of balance, and with a chronic limp that made me seem much older than my years. I couldn't go up or down stairs. All of that is gone. I wouldn't have imagined this 6 months ago, but I am walking and riding a bike long distances, have no limp and feel very strong. A highlight this spring was walking up the 145 steps of the Lincoln Memorial (thanks to Boston Sports Medicine). I have been able to become very active in my life and as a result have gotten in much better condition. Joint pain, injuries, arthritis and surgery can be so discouraging but this office of wonderful professionals can help you get strong again. Thank you Patricia M and also Michelle R!

Boston Sports Medicine is just awesome! I am a current college athlete, I play Division 1 Lacrosse, and Kelly helped me recover from a knee surgery. When I returned to school this fall I meet all of our fitness standards and exceeded the expectations when it came to running and run tests. Boston Sports Medicine prepared me for what was to come and after finishing a year on the sidelines, I came back the next year competing as though I hadn't missed the season. Great people and great methods, huge thank you to you guys! :)

My experience with Boston Sports Medicine in Swampscott has been fantastic! I was a previous patient at their Watertown location but after moving farther away, I was able to seamlessly transition care to their Swampscott location. Both Michelle's are great to work with and kept things challenging but still fun. Most importantly, they truly have deep expertise in feet/ankle injuries. I never felt like I was being rushed and they really gave me their undivided attention when I was there. Happy to say I'm on a break from going there (although still do my routine at home) which is the first time I've been able to say that in almost 4 years since my accident :-).

I would highly recommend Boston Sports Medicine to anyone in need of PT! Kelly and Michelle were incredible to work with. They took the time to educate me on my (shoulder impingement) issue as well as how they planned to help me resolve it. In between sessions, they also gathered additional information to help with my overall wellness and took the time to walkthrough it. I would also recommend "dry needling", which was a game-changer in my PT.

I tore my labrum in March and I went to BSM. I was assigned Kelly and she has been fantastic! I am way ahead of my surgeons expectations with both strength and flexibility. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Went to BSM - Swampscott to rehabilitate ACL and meniscus. Entire staff was extremely helpful with getting me back to playing after about 6 months post surgery. Highly recommend this location.

I came to Boston Sports Medicine with interest in my c-section recovery process. I wish I had found them sooner! It brought me the awareness to my recovery process that I was seeking and couldn’t find from the medical community and made me feel confident in restoring my strength and physical ability. I now am empowered to continue to physical recovery and have a new support team should anything come up in the future! I highly recommend at least getting a consult to any new mom so you can feel empowered too!

Came here for pt for a meniscus tear, walked in on crutches and Kelly helped me tremendously. I feel just about 100% now. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

I had a really bad experience at this place. The lady I worked with tried pushing me through jogging, jumping, and soccer passing exercises when I repeated to her several times— by the way that it’s feeling my hamstring certainly wasn’t ready for that. Instead of taking what I saying into consideration she then went onto saying that having a psych counselor would help me the most, and that she needed more effort out of me. I’ll tell you right now I’m just about the hardest worker when it comes to sports, but I would never push through an injury causing my knee to feel unstable, so I did the bare minimum of what she was asking. Still walked off the field having a sharp pain in my hamstring. Very very poor service.

Don't believe 5 star when you read it. My daughter was pushed by the physical therapist to do jumping and running exercises with a stretched grade 2 MCL strain. Could have blown her ligaments. Complained to PT and manager and their responses were unprofessional and certainly not striving for excellence. There is a lot of incompetence out there, beware.

I went to BSM from January-April 2022 to treat tight IT bands and help me prepare to run my first marathon. I saw Kelly twice a week for an hour each visit. Kelly was always prepared with a new workout for me, was flexible with scheduling, and always checked in to see how I was feeling and if we needed to adjust or re-evaluate anything. Seeing Kelly and receiving her professional advice was a big factor in me being able to cross the finish line. I will ? be back when I start training for my 2nd marathon.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. The clinicians are so friendly, helpful, caring and knowledgeable. They become invested in your goals and celebrate in your progress. I am back to doing what I want and have an active lifestyle because of these awesome ladies. So happy I came here and I would absolutely recommend their services.

Best PT experience I’ve ever had! When I first went to BSM I could barely touch my toes due to a bad car accident. Emily and Patricia did everything possible to make sure I was always comfortable and not in pain during my PT and within a couple months I was feeling substantially better. I highly recommend them to anyway in need of PT!

Emily C. and the team at BSM Swampscott did an excellent job in the rehabilitation of my knee. I have a couple of meniscus tears that I decided w/taking the conservative approach with rather than opting for surgery and I’m glad I chose BSM. The combination of home exercises provided and the personalized treatment plan the BSM team had for me helped w/strengthening my knee to the point that I feel comfortable with getting back to the activities I was doing prior to my injury with no worries. Thank you again BSM Swampscott!
