“My go to package store. New design outside is impressive. Inside didn't get the same love. A little better inside but not great. Not bigger, and not sure why they did the expansion if the inside is still cramped. Go here over Total Wine (corporate money). They price match and it's a local family.”
“Worth the trek! Had a delightful evening with close friends at this hidden gem on the North Shore, tasting organic wines with a yummy charcuterie board, learning about winemaking and walking away with an incredible experience.”
“One Stop was my favorite liquor store in college. Went there on my 21st to buy my first alcohol, and continued while I still lived up there. Appreciate the dedication to busting underage kids with fake IDs. I'll visit again soon!”
“Always a good experience here - even when returning a glass carboy bought new yesterday that came out of the factory carton sporting a gouge in the glass (bad juju).”
“So stoked to find this wine bar close to South Station - the perfect stop for a glass before the train! Great atmosphere, a carefully curated selection of natural wines, and a very cute shop dog - whats not to love?”

“We stumbled upon this wonderful place as we were visiting Boston, the people in this place are welcoming. One of the people said to check out their cellar and OMG, we felt like kids in a candy store?. The first bottle we bought was a chablis premiere cru and it was sooooo delicious (after refrigerating it for 6 hours and have it out for 20 mins)! We went there again to buy 3 more bottles of red wines 2 days after. If you like wine, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STOPPING AT THIS PLACE. The entire time we were there, I can say this is my favorite place in Boston. Will update this review of how the other bottles are.
P.S. they did say that every Friday, they host FREE wine tasting.
Update 1: As I told Jill (shoutout to her, she gave us awesome recommendations), Ill say what I think about the wines we bought. We tried the Vacqueyras she likes, and yessss ?, this is delicious! It was rich in taste, and has that peppery, earthy and fruity taste to it.”
“Boston Bottle is very trustworthy and a great shop to buy from. The staff is very kind and updated me on my online order when they shipped it and provided a tracking number from UPS. Would buy from here again!”
“This place is my go to. Cheap, helpful and friendly people. Very well stocked and has some specialty items as well. This place closes at 10 on the dot. I have been here right before closing and have been served with a smile swiftly. Keep it up.”
“David is a magician. He led me to a stellar bottle of revenge champagne. A few weeks later, after a quick phone chat, Corossol curated wines for an open house that were a smash hit. My new and always go to!”
“I was hesitate at first because the outside looks sketchy. Then I stepped inside and wow first time there last night and won't be my last. Met Jack and the staff. Cool dudes!😎”
“Great place for Lemoncello!!! They also sell all kinds of liquor!!
The place was so cool, we were able to ask them all types of about Lemoncello: they were very knowledgeable and answered every question .
Highly recommend going here!!”
“I always find myself here around the holidays grabbing items for gifts. The owners/workers are always friendly, helpful - but not overbearing and let you take your time. Great spot in the neighborhood.”
“This is a hole in the wall with a secret treasure downstairs, underneath the roads above: It has a fantastic wine cellar with an incredibly knowledgeable staff, Len (the proprietor) in particular. These folks really, really know their wines, and they are very passionate. They will work with you to find you exactly what you are looking for. From something nice for the every day to something majestic for a Saturday night or special occasion. And their scotch selection is also fantastic. Joe, the manager of the scotch business there, is equally knowledgeable and passionate. This is a wonderful hidden gem in plain sight. It looks like a cheap packie, but man, what a shop.”
“Bennett Highway? who would have known, it's just Route 1 to me. This is right off the highway, going N. Bang a right, About once every 2 years I go to a package store to shop for some occasion I am attending. This was a St. Patrick's Dinner. I easily found the Guiness display, you couldn't miss it, set up near the front of the store. 17.99 for 12 bottles of Guiness seemed like a good deal. The cans with the gas were more and I passed on those. The do give a nicer pour however these were fine for the occasion and the price was right. They had some discount booze in a couple of wagons up front, nothing I was interested in. The store is clean and well lit and organized. I will be back, prices are very good.”
“Excellent Customer Service from the owner himself, he actually called me to apologize that he wasn't able to deliver my order because he was working alone that night, and I just thought that was extremely courteous of him because he certainly didn't need to do that. So Thank You Very Much My Dear Friend ?”
“Great selection and great prices. Super friendly staff. I recently moved here from Kentucky and was worried I wouldn't be able to find some of my favorite bourbons and ryes. If I did, I figured they would be super expensive. I found them here and very reasonably priced. I WILL BE A REGULAR!”
“Amazing wedding cake!
My husband and I chose Henry's Market to supply our wedding cake. We ordered a small, heart shaped cake for cutting, along with a sheet cake for our venue to cut and serve to our guests.
It tasted amazing! We went for the classic white wedding cake with white frosting and everything was beautiful. The cake was moist and sweet and the frosting was incredible.
Henry's staff was great to work with and delivered our wedding cake on time to our venue.
Thank you so much!”

“This is the best business I have ever dealt with. They have the absolute best customer service (thanks Tiffany, for being so efficient!!!!! And Dean, too, for initial help). This store was able to provide what so many other stores I contacted, could not. They are well-stocked and beyond impressive. This is the go-to place for all your liquor needs!”
“Best Liquor store in Charlestown! It's a family owned business with amazing customer service. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and they are just good people.”
“A & L Liquors has quickly become my go-to spot, and a big reason why is the new owner, Nand. From the moment you walk in, he makes you feel genuinely welcome, always friendly, approachable, and happy to help whether you know exactly what you’re looking for or need a recommendation.
The store itself is well-organized and stocked with a great selection, making it easy to find both everyday favorites and something new to try. Nand clearly takes pride in the shop, and it shows in the clean layout and thoughtful variety of options available.
What really sets A & L Liquors apart, though, is the customer experience. It’s rare to find a place where the owner is so consistently warm and attentive. Nand goes out of his way to create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back.
Highly recommend stopping by, you won’t just find what you need, you’ll enjoy the visit too.”
“Went inside here thinking it was that convenience store that sells unsalted peanuts.
boy I was wrong
I have nothing negative to say so have these five stars”
“I asked how much I really needed to make jello shots and the cashier and another associate and a customer behind me were absolutely awesome... i got the right amount and better recipe for the jello shots... omg are they going to be strong .... thank you they are the best.. hands down best liquor store around..”
“The sales lady asked how are you today? I said not to good my back just gave out. When she got through ringing in order. She carried it out to my car. I didn’t expect that so thank you so much.”
“If you're looking for an impressive variety of beers and spirits, this place has it all! The staff is super knowledgeable and always ready to help pick out something perfect for the occasion. Can't wait to go back!”
“They have it all. Produce, deli, lots of beef, prepared foods of all kinds and lots of bakery selections. Let's not forget a large beer and wine section. Convenient to Route 95 in Danvers. Gotta try it.”
“We enjoyed a great lunch today as Shubie's Marketplace. Marblehead is such a great town. Beautiful and rich in history. During lunch we thought it sad to believe that budget cuts may close our wonderful Abbot Public Library. There are 3,000 mooring in Marblehead and the mooring fee is $7 a foot for the whole season. What a fabulous deal. That must be why there's a 40 year waiting list to get one. What if a $300 per mooring fee on top this bargain were assessed? That' s $300x3,000 moorings = $900,000. Let's look to enhance revenue rather than cutting basic services.”
“Friendly neighborhood liquor store. Staff here is always helpful and super reliable. I've purchased a few recommendations and enjoyed them. Store is clean and organized. Prices are pretty good, although not as low as the super stores, but you cannot beat the convenience and service here.”
