I was told by 2 other local mechanics that I needed over $1k of work on my Mini Cooper. Mini wanted $275 just to diagnose the problem. A friend told me to go see Jason at Paradise Auto Service. At first Jason gave me the name of someone in Marblehead who works on BMW's & Minis and while I was still in his lot calling them, he came over to my car and asked me to pull it in because he thought he knew what it might be. It was exactly what he thought it was. He ordered the part & put it in the following day. I’ve sent several people to them since. All were equally happy. This was a year ago & I don’t remember the exact amount I paid but I know the part, including labor was less than $100. 🤗

Jason is the best in everything he does. I’ve brought my car in for front and rear brakes, tires, alignment and I keep coming back all the way from Wayland to Swampscott. I drive a Subaru and have a dealership 5 minutes from me, but it’s worth a ride because Jason is the best!!! Thank you Jason 🤩

I have used them for several years. Excellent service. Very good value for the money. They aren't trying to get every last dollar out of you. They do get busy sometimes due to their success, but they will try to fit you in for an emergency.

Jason @ Paradise is great. I have gone to him for small, annoying things that have happened to my car and he has handled them with professionalism and class. And the best part he did not over charge for small tasks! Highly recommend.

Best mechanic in the area. If you want an honest and reliable mechanic this is the place to go. There are no hidden agendas, shortcuts or hidden fees or even any extras that just randomly come up. Everything regarding issues with ones automobile are clearly communicated with recommendations if it is an immediate fix or something that can wait. Costs are clearly detailed and described as well.
Take your car her for all is needs and you won’t be disappointed.

So I'm going to take a little bit of my time to express my thoughts on Jason and his business.
I recently became aware that I had a bad oil drain plug on my 2010 Accord. I made arrangements to have Jason take a look and he confirmed that the plug was indeed bad and that the oil pan would need to be replaced costing around $900. He also noticed and informed me that I had extreme wear and damage to transmission fluid lines which would be another large cost to fix.
As we discussed what my options were, I noticed he kind of led me to the conclusion that it would probably be better if I used the money it would take to fix my car and put it into a newer car.
As someone with some trust issues, I can't say enough how much I appreciate this kind of honesty. Especially when it sends business out his door. You just don't see this kind of behavior much anymore in this age of greediness.
I have used Jason's services a few times before and will continue to do so.
So, if you're looking for a great place to get honest service to repair your car, I highly recommend Jason @ParadiseAutoService.

Just writing to offer helpful guidance to new customers unfamiliar with the quality at Paradise Auto. Five stars summarizes it quickly but I'll add that if you're looking for skill, trust and someone who will take the time to explain - in layman's terms - your car's issues and needs, well, this the place to come to. Skill and trust don't always show up with mechanics but you'll find both qualities a part of Jason's service.

Jason is second to none. He’s helped me troubleshoot issues on my challenging 96 Bronco. The work he’s done has always been very fair priced and high quality. And, when it makes sense, he’s helped me learn how to do repair work myself. Highly recommend this shop.
