Mail carriers who deliver on Humphrey St in Swampscott leave a lot to be desired. They often put someone else's mail in our box. Then they request that names be put on the boxes because apparently they don't go by the numbers yet they still put mail for other units in our box. They leave elastics all over the ground below the boxes (classy!). Recently, one of them put four bundles of the weekly advertisement flyers in our mailbox. And now, they can't close the door to the mailbox unit. What next?

This location has good service. Alan is always friendly, professional and simplifies the process which can be a little complex when shipping.

Great service, professional staff and always on time. My dad had a tailor shop for many years in Swampscott, MA and always used their service. Thank you everyone and be safe these overwhelming times for all.

Called into the Swampscott post office just to ask a quick question "Kathy" answered the phone and was very rude the entire time. It sounded like she had absolutely no desire to answer a simple question and was very quick to get off the phone.

umm..the US Postal Service doesn't use a penny of tax dollars. Your tax money does not go to paying their salary.

I have to disagree with the rater who had a negative experience here. I've been shipping packages at least once a week here for the past year, and I think that the counter staff is unbelievably friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They can always answer my (many) questions about what I can and can't ship to my husband in Afghanistan. They know me when I walk in and want to know where the baby is when my son isn't with me, how my husband is doing, or why I wasn't in last week. I even once received a phone call from them asking if I needed help with the online postage system - they were concerned because I had shipped a package with 20-something stamps on it! (Actually, I was out of printer ink to print the postage and just happened to have 20-something stamps. But it was nice that they called to check!) I enjoy going there. Yes, to the post office. I think that says a lot!
