“This winter has been brutal, and it's not done with us yet. I've gone to two Home Depots looking for insulated gloves. I've looked for them at Walmart, too. No luck, all sold out.
I called Rocky's Ace Hardware in Fall River, hoping they'd have some. No. But...one of their employees told me that Carter's Clothing, off Plymouth Ave, next to McDonald's, was where he'd purchased his.
I drove over to have a look...I was dumbfounded! They had an incredible selection of both men's and women's insulated gloves...of all types--for shoveling, skiing, general wear...I felt like I'd landed in heaven.
I bought not one, but two different types of insulated gloves--far surpassing the quality of a pair I recently gave to someone else who needed them more than I did.
There's so much more great gear to be found at Carter's. I don't understand why they're not doing a better job of advertising--their parking lot was empty, yet their shelves were overflowing...with boots, gloves, scarves, socks--pants, shirts...you get the picture.
Best of all, their prices were reasonable. Whereas Amazon had a several-day wait for delivery, and Walmart noted 3+ days to get theirs...I walked right in, found two great pairs, and was out in less than fifteen minutes...and the staff were incredibly helpful, too.
I have no affiliation with Carter's, but I'm so impressed with them that I plan to return and get my clothing and other needs there. I do hope they do better advertising, as they certainly deserve more business.”

The staff is very friendly; Anne is especially helpful with the design process, she will sketch something up right there and then and send you a few proofs within a day for your approval. The shirts were done quickly and once I arrived to pick them up, they were packed up and even delivered to my car by Andrew (one of the owners). Great service and quality products! “This boutique has such a great variety of unique clothing and accessories. The owner Elaine exudes enthusiasm for fashion and making sure her customers have the best experience while shopping. The price points are a bit high- don’t expect a bargain. But you will get personal shopping/styling and leave feeling like it was worth the spend. The store has great high end denim brands and lots of nice boutique labels. The seasonal sweaters are super cute. Give them a follow on socials- love their fun reels!!”
“Never thought I would make a review for a dry cleaners but after the exceptional service I received over the course of the past 8 months I had to! First off the staff here is impeccable. Always greets you with a smile as you walk through the door. Molly the manager there is another reason for my returning buisness. She always remembers my name as I walk through that door and even remembers my go to time to make it as speedy as possible. The prices are very competitive to places I've been around the area but there is no other place I'd trust my suits and clothes to go. Not to mention the convenient location right off 44 and next to my favorite Dunkins. Keep up the great work! And strongly recommend you give them your business!”

“There is an employee at the Target in Somerville on Somerville Ave that really deserves the Best Employee Award. I am a vendor for a number of clients within Target. I have been to several of your stores and have never received the respect and willingness to help like I have when I go to store 1441 in Somerville and the reason is because of one young man Alessandro Mejia. Alessandro is an amazing young man, who always has a quite serene sincere smile on his face, he is incredibly knowledgeable about this store and I know this because my questions regarding any client in the store are always answered correctly and with confidence.
