Here is where I texted my husband "I think I just ate a life-changing breakfast sandwich." Seriously. A homemade biscuit, linguiça, cheese—it was perfection. Coffee was great too and I wish I had more time and space in my body for their other grocery items. I loved everything about this market, it's everything a neighborhood market ought to be and I might now have to move here.

Salty Market can meet all your needs - whether it be catering, provisions, bar supplies, coffee, whatever it is! Liam is one of the kindest, most understanding chefs - his food is creative and delicious. Highly recommend Salty Market. It’s a must stop on the Outer Cape.

We were in Truro to celebrate a friend's birthday and Salty Market catered two of our meals. Not only were they delicious but Liam, the chef/owner was generous, kind, and helpful. Worried that our air bnb might not have bowls, Liam sent us with a stack for our Portuguese fish stew, just in case. The store is full of amazing food and wine and we found a tasty crement that was a perfect bubbly to celebrate our friend. I highly recommend Salty Market and would love to have this store in my own neighborhood.

Used to be the best local place to get sandwiches and small small groceries. The new ownership has been disappointing. They sell tasteless and stale expensive sandwiches now. Sorry but our family is very dissatisfied.Note: the staff is excellent and that’s the one thing that hasn’t changed.

Aug. 2023. No longer a grocery store or market. Can't buy a standard loaf of bread, or regular potato chips, no rack of candy bars, no household items, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. It's gone ChiChi. See other reviews for what Salty Market now offers.

Excellent sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Very nice selection of wine and beer (more than a normal deli, less than a normal liquor store). Super friendly staff. A local gem.

My girlfriends & I camp right down the road - every year we stop at this cute little market for breakfast! The staff is super friendly, the small selection they have is wicked impressive, and the food is great!!!Definitely recommend the breakfast tacos

I recently visited Salty Market, a local deli, and I must say, my experience left me feeling quite disappointed. As soon as I entered the shop, I noticed that the owner ( or someone who I assumed to be the owner) failed to acknowledge my presence or greet me. This oversight would have been unfortunate in any situation, but what made it even more disheartening was the fact that the owner immediately greeted a white customer who entered the shop right after me.As an Indian customer, I couldn't help but feel marginalized and overlooked. It is disheartening to encounter such a lack of basic courtesy and respect, especially in this day and age when diversity and inclusivity should be at the forefront of our interactions. As a patron, I believe that every customer deserves equal treatment, regardless of their ethnicity or background. It is crucial for business owners to create an atmosphere that is welcoming and inclusive for everyone. Unfortunately, my experience at Salty Market fell short in that regard.I understand that oversights can happen, and perhaps the owner was preoccupied or momentarily distracted. However, it is essential to be mindful of these instances, as they can leave a lasting impact on customers. Small gestures like a warm greeting can go a long way in making patrons feel valued and appreciated. While Salty Market may offer delicious food and a pleasant ambiance, it is important for the owner and staff to be more conscious of their behavior towards customers. Improving customer service and ensuring equal treatment for all individuals, regardless of their ethnicity, should be a top priority for any establishment. In the future, I hope Salty Market takes steps to address these concerns and foster an environment where all customers are greeted and treated with the same level of respect. It is my sincere hope that they recognize the importance of inclusivity and work towards making necessary changes to provide an enjoyable experience for all patrons.EDIT: The person whom I referred to above may not have been the owner, but was representing Salty Market when they were greeting customers as they enter. Owner or not, end of the day experience of the customer matters. I am confused by the owner's "confusion" - hasnt the owner hired some help? I did see more than one person working there. While I appreciate the response from the owner, I resent the "confusion".
