It’s an absolute shame I have banked with JDCU since for 20 years and today the way I was treated was unlike the JDCU I once banked with. I rarely go into a branch and today I went to open my 1 year old an account. I go to deposit a bunch of cash she has collected over the last year. The teller uses a cash counting machine and hands me a receipt that I deposited 100$ less. I explain that I had given her more and she told me the machine is never wrong yet the machine only counts bills and not change but my deposit was 205.84 using her extremely accurate machine. This bank has gone down hill. The teller refused to close her drawer and count the machine and told me I had to wait a week to find out if this faulty machine had my money while continuing to process transactions! I’m livid. I will be closing all of my accounts and making sure I tell every person I know how terrible customer service is at JDCU. They are not tk be trusted with your money and don’t do right by the customers. Shame scummy and shady “bank”.

This bank is just okay I like it's just down the street from my home. They do however find ways to charge for little things and their staff can be stand-offish at times. For example when you sign up you have 3-4 months approx of access to their Money Management tool then after that it's $4.99. 2nd example I went in to to cash some savings bonds and they told me they could not and just printed out a paper to check the website so they can mail a check me a check. Mind you a called ahead any banks should be able to cash savings bonds less than $1000 which I did have but they still proceeded to say they do not provide that service so I went to Digital Federal Credit Union and they were able to cash the bonds with no issue and then I went back to JDCU to deposit it just to show them that it can be done. I also tried using they bill pay app which was an issue because they proceeded to debit an account that I closed on my account and it was extremely a hassle to get them to change it with my new account info. Again at this point I always use this bank for just savings because any other service I choose to use or try seems to be an issue. Rates are good but customer service can be improved.
