“We’ve had a few appointments for different things in a short time this year so I am going to break this up into those few different areas.
- Several months ago we brought Finn our five year-old boxer into Countryside for his first appointment. We had moved from NH and switched him from a vet in Nashua. The change over to Countryside for Finn was super smooth and Dr Williams was the best. The rest of the team at Countryside was great as well. Finn had his initial checkup and was due for all of his vaccines. We can’t say enough about how happy we were with the care Finn got.
- We also had Finn evaluated for some dental work. The dental exam showed that Finn was going to need extensive work as his gums had grown around and over some teeth. A common issue with the breed that would require a procedure using a laser to cut the gums back away from the teeth. We set that appointment as well and a few weeks later came back for that procedure. During that treatment, the doctor found multiple infections and teeth that needed to be removed. They kept us aware every step of the way and removed all the damaged teeth and infection. The transformation was amazing and recovery was extremely smooth for Finn. He was also quite clearly more comfortable now that all of his teeth and gum issues were corrected.
- Finn used to get a medication prescribed that made him super lethargic and I didn’t like that side effect for him. I mentioned it to Dr. Williams who prescribed him a different medication that works perfectly and doesn’t make him lethargic at all.
- Lastly, we’ve also started a regular schedule for grooming every 8 weeks or so. Having the veterinary and grooming services under one roof is super convenient.
Again, we just can’t say enough about the care we’ve gotten at Countryside. If I could recommend them a 20 out of 10 I would.

“The staff here are great! My poor furbaby, Freddie, was sick and although they weren’t my vet they took him in when my mother in law brought him and took care of him lovingly. They were transparent about cost and only did things with our approval including holding off on blood work if he was not okay this morning (thankfully he is fine and chipper as he normally is). I am so thankful for everyone here and will definitely make them my primary vet if they will take Freddie on. I definitely recommend them!!”

“My pup Apollo is a two year-old Ridgeback mix and he’s a little skittish of new places and new people yet walked right up to the lovely dock and fell in love with them. He was a very good boy we were in and out quickly. I felt that it was the best veterinary appointment. I have had hands-down in many many many years. “I was able to check in at my scheduled appointment time. The receptionist and front office staff were ALL very friendly to myself and my dog. Short wait and was escorted in to meet with the Vet. The facility was clean and free from odor. My Veterinarian is Dr. Julie Haller who is ALWAYS thorough, kind and untrusted. She reviewed old records, asked about updates and any concerns. Dr.Haller was caring and thoughtful. I have been a customer of Bulger Animal Hospital for twenty years and have never been disappointed. I refer the business to friends and family. My only concern is cost which can be higher than other veterinary practices.”

“I have a very high anxiety French bulldog who has been a patient of Linwood Animal Hospital since we first brought him home two years ago. All of my pets have been treated at Linwood. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they respond to emails and phone calls with a sense of urgency. They truly all love animals, it shows in how they interact with them. My guy can be a very difficult patient, no matter what they still treat him with the utmost care. Dr. V is The best!”

“I would recommend anyone looking to adopt goes through Lowell Humane Society. The staff member that I worked with directly for the adoption of Luther was Lauren T. I can’t say enough pleasant things about her and how easy she made it to make the choice with my adoption. You can tell that she is a true animal lover and knows what she is doing. I was sent home with paperwork of everything I needed to know along with wet/dry good and his favorite toys, way more than I expected to receive.

“I have nothing but appreciation and trust in this place. I can not tell you how many times the veterinarian has took us in last minute and made sure we get our babies treatment ! One of my cats is very territorial and doesn’t like strangers at all so when I come here I know it’s going to be a show haha but Dr. Mian is always to the rescue even with her craziness. I genuinely do feel safe and comfortable when I come here. I get nothing but great treatment from Sherri, who can sure calm you down and make you laugh haha and Dr. Mian, who says it like it is and doesn’t sugar coat things, which I do appreciate! As far as prices go, I don’t find it to expensive. Honestly depends on what you have to get done. I can’t and won’t compare to other places because I have never been anywhere else !

“I can’t put into words how much I appreciate and trust this Emergency Vet. Despite there being one much closer to me, I’ll always go out of my way to bring my cats here in any emergency. Which isn’t often, fortunately, but it’s definitely comforting to know that I’ve got a good practice to turn to if my cats need immediate care.
They’ve always treated me and my boys well when I’ve had to bring them in. I want to say I’ve been in with one of my boys three times in the past 3 years or so, and each time they’ve gone above and beyond my expectations. At a previous visit maybe a year ago, one of the girls even noticed how upset and anxious I was while waiting, and went out of her way to take pictures of my cat out back to show me he was okay and doing well! Every single person I’ve spoken with is professional, compassionate, and you can tell they truly care about their patients, both the pets and pet owners. Lilly at the front desk is a sweetheart, Dr. Anderson is amazing, and while I can’t remember any other names at this point, the other two people I spoke with were just as great. My cat has already improved significantly since his visit not even 24 hours ago, and I’m immensely grateful for the team that helped us!

“For many years I've used Wignall for all the cats I've had. Recently one of my cats needed dental work. It was not a problem of cleaning but an actual medical problem. Fortunately my pet insurance helped with the cost. The vets and technicians there are great. They were able to do the procedure and actually it cost less that originally thought. Wignall adjusted the price. (They could have charged the original estimate and I wouldn't have known, but they don't do things like that.)
They explained everything before and after. I was called while the procedure was being done to inform me of what they found. Afterwards I was given detailed instructions along with copies of pictures and x-rays. The next day they called to make sure my cat was doing fine.
Also whenever I go away, I've boarded my cats there. I've never had a problem with boarding them at Wignall. I know they're well taken care of and it's nice to see pictures posted.
I definitely recommend Wignall and plan on using them into the future.”
