My wife came across a Spaightwood Gallery event posting on Facebook so we decided to stop by. I had lttle expectation but was completely blown away by what they had to offer. Our experience was made exponentially better by meeting Andrew, one of the owners of the gallery and getting an education on many of the pieces on display (and some that were not). Visiting Spaightwood is an up close and personal experience with magnificent art and artists. To top it off, Andrew shared much of the history of the church that houses the incredible gallery along with many personal experiences about their life journey that led them onto the path of exquisite art. Andrew was a wonderful, welcoming host and teacher to my wife and me. I am already finding myself acting as a megaphone for the Spaightwood experience. Thank you, for your genuine hospitality Andrew. We will be back again and again and again.

Wow, what an amazing collection! Never though of a gem like this exist so close by! Beautiful building filled with original art works from famous artist. Seeing 200 Miro originals in one room is breathtaking. Cannot wait to see the rest of the collections!

What a totally magical place! Andrew greeted us and gave us an hour of his attention as we toured his packed-to-the-gills gallery inside this beautiful building. He told us a lot of stories and histories behind the art and the artists, and showed us more that wasn't yet hung on the walls. He mentioned they rotate the art about once every two or three months, so we can't wait to come back! This gallery is a real hidden gem and a special thing to visit!

We have purchased artwork from this gallery for SUNY Plattsburgh's gallery collection. The owners are amazing and the work is always beautiful!
