“We got a flat tire driving during a winter storm on a Sunday morning. Got the spare on and called Mavis to check if they can fix it. Was told there’s no wait and that they can fix it right away, unlike a competitor who said they had a 45 min wait. The service rep greeted us warmly and the rep and technician examined the tire, checked for the leak, and fixed it within half and hour. Excellent and efficient service!”

They quickly diagnosed the situation and determined the source as a strange sound that I was hearing in the engine. “When I turned my car on the TPMS light would blink foe a minute and then remain on, which indicates a problem with the TPMS system. I was able to get an appointment at T and L within a reasonable timeframe. I was greeted immediately upon arrival, left my keys and a contact number. Within a few hours, I got a call that the car was ready. Two of the tire monitors needed replacement, the cost was reasonable.”

I recently got a flat on I-90 late on a Sunday night, but by a twist of fate, the tow dropped it right across the street from Grafton Tire.
Brooke and Danny helped me first thing the next morning, going above and beyond to acquire the exact type of tire I needed, repair the flat, and get me on my way within a few hours. Of all the businesses I called in the area, they were the most responsive and the only one able to get me exactly what I needed, fast. They’re extremely kind, communicative, honest, and reassuring. Didn't try to sell me on more than was absolutely necessary, but informed me of other things they noticed I should look out for. If I lived closer, I would ABSOLUTELY be a regular customer.”

Being an owner of an '06 Land Cruiser, I've had my fair share of maintenance as well as bigger projects done to this car and J White's is the shop that you can rest assured with.
Each project is always handled with great communication and honestly everyone I've spoken to there is clearly knowledgeable and eager to be helpful. Whether it's for questions, professional advice, or actual mechanical work, it's A+.
Besides that, you'll be treated like family here. I've had them reach back out after jobs to check in, as well as work around certain schedules to fit me in for emergenices.
I also recently had them do a pre purchase inspection for a much newer 4Runner, and from the mechanical advice to the wisdom of Peter who also owns a 4Runner, it helped me cement my purchase with confidence.
Shirely is also someone I want to give special mention to, as she's the one that will always make sure you're taken care of. As long as I know Shirely is with my truck on the job, I am happy to submit any work to be done.

“I had been a customer of Paul from the mid 70's to the mid 90's. Until I relocated to another distant area.
Now some 30 years later. I have returned much closer to this area once again. In doing so. Relocating and making new adjustments to the area was not too difficult.
However, my best conquest in my current move back here was learning my past auto mechanic Paul's Auto Repair was still in business on Phillips St.
What a surprise it was to walk in and renew our friendship and business relationship once again. Having Paul as my mechanic once more has put me back in my comfort zone or as some call it, my happy place.
Talking to him and listening to him talk to his customers via the phone or at the shop. Has shown me he still maintains his strong work ethics and his focus to deliver quality work. I have always appreciated his honesty. Paul has no problem informing you of what work really needs to be done now or maybe a little later. Case in point, my rear brakes were in very near in need of replacement. . However, he also said that my front brakes had possibly another 3000 miles left on them. With that being said I will make another date to have them inspected again at 2,500 miles.
With this type of respect, kindness, professionalism, and honesty. This is the class of mechanic I choose to have working for me and my family.”
“Always has been and will be our go to for emergencies with tires. I picked up a piece of hardware in my tire after driving by a construction site. I called Crothers at 7:30am to see if they could help and had an appt for 9:30am same day. I arrived early and was seen early. Not only did they patch the tire for a super reasonable price, he also put the tire back on for me(which my husband much appreciated as now he does not have to lol). Thank you, Crothers!! We appreciate you all!”
“I started going here 2 years ago. With a couple of older vehicles between my wife and I, we've had more repairs that we would care to admit, but have had an overall positive experience.
Pros - They have a front desk and the woman who usually staffs it is helpful and very knowledgeable, they take appointments and generally can take you within a day or two if you're willing to give them the car for the day, they're transparent about pricing, and the mechanic usually calls to discuss any work and the estimate before proceeding. We've had no surprise charges or unwanted work done. They also do inspections. We also had a repair issue that needed to be repeated and they honored the warranty for the very expensive part with no questions. Overall they're very communicative and transparent.
Cons - Sometimes they require a deposit for a part. They usually close right at 5pm and are closed on weekends.
We'll continue to go back and have been pretty happy and satisfied to date.”

“Had a pin hole leak on my 1990 K2500 Silverado front tire. The tires are at least 25 years old as the unit does not get much use. I Took the tire off and bought it to the Shrewsbury branch. I figured it would cost me at least the price of new tire. They called me the next day to pick it up - cost was $27.26. They installed a new valve. I really appreciate the fact they did only what was needed at an extremely reasonable price. The crew up there was courteous as well.”

“I believe Supervisor Andrew and Ryan deserve five stars. Two weeks ago they changed my front tires and did the alignment for me. They are young but very skillful, professional and honest. When I asked them to do alignment for my car, Supervisor Andrew told me that he would check and see if it was needed. He said if nothing wrong, there’s no need to spend money on that. Computer showed that my car did need alignment and they did it. After they fix it, Ryan showed me the computer result. It showed they did great job.
