So instead of saving money I ended up wasting $30. Lesson learned for me I guess.
I reserved a space online for a location in Massachusetts. When I called them because they left me a voicemail saying I needed to come to the office to finalize the agreement. They then informed me that the only main office is in another state 30 minutes away, so then I declined the space and would keep looking. The person then said that they could process over the phone and via email.
**Be aware if you arrange anything over the phone. I specifically chose this company because of the 2 month free promotion I found online. On the phone we went through the usual questions and the 2 month promotion was mentioned by the person on the phone BUT there was no mention that the promotion would be altered because of the sign up date being the 15th of the month.
They sent me the electronic contract to sign via email and I noticed that I wasn't getting the full 2 months free. I called back and asked if I could change the move in date and they said they couldn't change the agreement and nothing could be done to honor the original promotion of two months. I said no and told them I would not be going forward with signing the contract. I was then told I would not be getting the admin fee of $30 back because I agreed over the phone. In the contract it states no rent refunds and I was told that the admin fee falls under rent. Mind you I did not sign the contract.
Would not recommend.
