For over 20 years I have counted on Cash & Carry in so many ways. Great customer service and quality products - one of the best shopping experiences on the Island. One-stop shopping for any type of event - I've bought the food, servingware and softdrinks there for everything from benefit parties, to Open Houses for my real estate clients, to parties at home. We custom order meats and delicious soups, there are always new tools and specialty items to use for cooking, and Jon and his staff are always innovating with what they offer.

The selection of bulk food is fantastic! The selection of K cups is the largest on the island. Their supplies re: paper towels are the Best Buy!!! You can also order just about anything and they will have it in a day or two. The customer service is outstanding!!!!

A great resource to the island. I love this place and have used it to supply my catering company for basics. It's not always easy to find what your looking for on an island Cash and Carry always saves me time and money. I would recommend it to anyone.

Cash & Carry is a low key, island version of Costco. Its location behind a moving company on the VH- Edgartown Road may be off putting for some, but once you venture back there, you'll be okay. In fact, you may feel like you have discovered a hidden jewel. They sell lots of items in bulk, frozen foods (some are really good), coffee filters, paper towels, pots and pans, spices, power bars, ice, meats and more. The prices are quite reasonable for the island. Remember that everything has to be trucked in from the mainland which adds to the cost of every single thing you buy on the Vineyard. This island has few bargains. lt closes at 4:30 which makes no sense to me. But it opens at 8 am so that works for us early birds. Don't ignore this terrific island resource as you drive between VH and Edgartown. Especially if you need lots of mustard, hot dogs, ketchup or mayo for your next cookout with family and friends.

I've been using Vineyard Cash and carry for year s I've never found them to be anything other than courteous and professional. They sell all kinds of restaurant supplies side towels, huge bags of ice, stainless steel scrubby's, sauté pans all the kinds of things that you need for your house that the big chain grocery stores on the island don't have. They have all kinds of crazy frozen appetizers, finger foods etc. for your cocktail parties, that sort of thing. Being a professional chef I love to browse the place and pick up some sort of idiosyncratic appie.

This is the only Cash and Carry/ restaurant/ bulk product store on the Island so I guess these guys feel justified acting like total pricks to anyone. The idea that the "customer is always right" is a good policy when dealing with clients who are dissatisfied over little things, however this concept definitely does not apply here. When asking for a refund for a purchase that never made it home, they accused me of shady dealings and actually yelled at me! If you can avoid them I would, Cash and Carry management doesn't deserve your business.
