I self maintain my car as a hobby and have watched racing my whole life.. I’ve had many mechanics try to get one over on me assuming I’m as dumb as I look. This is the only one who’s ever consistently saved me money.
My previous shop tried to tell me I needed new brakes on both axels. Although the front pads were worn, I knew the rear pads were more than sufficient. Next oil change I brought the vehicle here and he confirmed the brakes had plenty of life left. When you do good work, you typically don’t need to lie to stay busy.
This shop is worth scheduling an appointment for.”

“General service and also more complicated work.Mike and Tom have been my mechanics for since the eighties, and their dad before that. They have never overcharged me, especially when compared to a dealer. The work is always finished when they said it be. They provide a loaner (usually a well worn beamer) and only request I gas it up if I add significant mileage. Car repairs are most always pricey, it's the just the nature of the business. If you think they were out of line just try a dealer. I sometimes Google repair prices if I'm curious about what a repair is going to 'up there' but these goys have never been out of line. I don't bother to look up prices anymore, my '16 350 has 94k miles and stuff happens with age and miles. I like the car, they keep it going and bring it to John's when the car breaks.Five stars to Tom and Mike.”
“Don't love having a damaged car, but always love coming here to get everything fixed! I have brought my Crosstrek here multiple times and wouldn't dream of taking it anywhere else as long as I live in the area. I truly can't say enough nice things about the service. The communication, customer service, speedy repairs, everything is great :) The last time I came in repairs were completed early, and every time they're doing repairs for me I get regular texts with updates. Everyone who works here is extremely kind, personable, and patient with me when I have lots of questions, or when my insurance is being difficult to work with. I love that their office feels friendly and customer-centric—I've gone to others where the office feels like an extension of the shop and not very comfortable to be in. Repairs are always completed beautifully and have never needed a re-work. Give them your business, you won't regret it!”

“My first visit to Auto-Thentic resulted from an issue with my headlights. They did a great job getting everything working and explained the details of their work well. I then put my car in with them for an extensive 125,000 mile maintenance (fluids, filters, etc.) and rear brakes.

Nick in sales was wonderful. But absolutely do not trust the finance manager Jon Warren. After I signed the paperwork he redid my loan and signed my name on it without my knowledge or consent. The interest rate went up by 2%. I ended up refinancing through another company and have been fighting with him since trying to get a refund for the extended warranty and tire warranty. Not very good customer service or satisfaction”
