I called in to renew a prescription for my husband that was filled three previous times. I received a text saying they will contact my doctor for a generic substitute. Why? I called and no one could answer me. I told them not to fill it until I check with doctor and my insurance company that pays half the premium and leaves me with a payment of $105.00 because we are covered for this medication. I was very clear about not doing anything until I check with my husbands doctor. There was also a second prescription for another eye drop which they said they would fill. I get a text message from CVS saying the prescriptions are ready and I look at the note attached and they went ahead and filled the brand name and set the price at $201.99! (When the one drop was picked up they told me they were identical prescriptions and they absolutely are NOT!! And they have filled both in the past too). One is a steroid and the other is an anti-rejection medication for a cornea!) Anyway, did they not listen when I told them NOT to fill the second prescription? And what happened to the text they sent me saying they needed to check with my doctor on Monday? They have a real problem with Brand Name drugs. I had two prescriptions sent there for myself and one was just never filled and I called several times to check the status and the woman was rude to me and it was never ever filled! I had my doctor call another drug store and I got it the very next day! The second prescription was for low dose aspirin and they argued with me at the pharmacy that I didn't need a script for that because they sell it in the store! Well my doctor when I left the hospital wanted me to have it as a prescription (plus it is cheaper) so who are they to tell me I don't need it?

I called to check to see if they had an antibiotic for my 7yr old daughter. The woman on the phone was pretty rude for no reason, then told me they didn't have it and were ready to call it into their Winchester location. I said \"no thank you\" and right before I hung up she told me they did have it in stock. Maybe she was stressed but still, I was polite and it was a quick call.

If you just want to be aggravated, go here. If not, go to any other pharmacy, even another CVS. Unless you don't mind waiting 6 to 12 hours for 1 script or something you need they probably do not carry. Selection is quite limited

40+ min delay for covid test with appointment. Not even resourced/staffed to meet predicted appointments. Appalling.

Painfully slow, slower staff who try to ignore their customers

The pharmacy is the slowest pharmacy around. There is only 1cashier with the window. No other help jump in.

I've had a number of issues with this pharmacy but recently experienced a safety issue that goes beyond inconvenience (and honestly there is an issue almost every time we got there). They misinterpreted a doctor's instructions and gave me double the dose of a medication with strong side effects. Luckily I didn't feel well but was generally ok, but if I had had certain health conditions, my doctor indicated it would have been a big issue. CVS's "solve" for this was to give me a Target gift card. I have sent a complaint to the MA regulatory agency and we are taking all my family's prescriptions out of CVS.

Overall I never have a problem at all with the store or (most of) the staff. I work close and frequent this location. I thought it was one employee, but I've encountered it multiple times, with multiple employees. They are all rude at the pharmacy! I mostly use the drive thru for prescriptions and have yet to meet a friendly employee. I've never noticed that in any business where one department seems to hold all of the rude people.

Not good at all! I went in to print up a couple photos and left with nothing after over 30 minutes of trying! The Kodak machine didn't seem to be working. I tried plugging in, their WiFi option and even downloaded the app! Horrible! I also looked for someone to assist and of course, no one was around. Frustrating to say the least! Won't go back and will not recommend this location. In addition, the machine was filthy and had a layer of dust, telling me it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. In these Covid days, cleanliness should be #1 priority!

Incompetent and rude people working at the pharmacy. They called to confirm my prescription, so went to pickup when I was very sick. Then magically they were out of one of my prescription and I had to drive 15 minutes very sick to another pharmacy. Don't call to confirm that my prescription is ready if you are out of it! Never said sorry either when I had to drive to another pharmacy very sick.

I don't like large pharmacies and this one is no different. Many of the employees are children that don't care about themselves much less you. The pharmacy is slow to fil scripts and prices not cover by insurance are over priced. If your in Wakefield I recommend "The Medicine Store"
