The pharmacy never, ever answers their phone. Now, going on 1 hr 38 minutes on hold. Line is always out the door. Definitely changing to Walgreens at this point.

This place is an absolute horror show! I stand in line for 20 mins waiting for an RX refill, they hand me the bag. I tell them I want to check the quantity of my RX before I purchase, as I ran out a month ago and their system claimed I wasn't eligible for refill till now. I was expecting six boxes (90-day supply), to my surprise, there's ONE box in the bag! When I question the quantity, I'm told to go to the next window for a consult. I explain the issue twice to a lady who clearly wasn't happy to have me point out an issue. I wait another 15 mins or so. She hands me a new bag. Again, I open the bag prior to paying. This bag has 3 boxes (half the amount required)! I point out to her the prescription is a 90-day supply and she's handed me a 45-day supply. The pharmacist is then pulled in, where he starts comparing the quantity of each dose, to the supply, basically, debating me. At the end of the day the doc said take one vile, add to water and use. I'm not here to debate the quantity of drug in the medication. If he has an issue, speak to my doctor. Aside from the fact, if this is an issue, why is he discovering it now? CVS has already filled this prescription twice! He tells me they're close to lunch time and need to close soon (meanwhile, I just blew my lunch hr dealing with these folks). I said, it appears you need time to work this out and possibly call my doc. I confirm he has my cell number - he repeats it back to me. He says they'll call when the RX is ready. Two days later, no call. So, I go back today, because you can't simply call this place. Their automated system leads you down a path to nowhere in trying to speak to a human. I'm told the prescription is ready. I ask to look in the bag, only to find three boxes, half the quantity expected! At this stage, it's clear, they cannot do this. I've contacted my doc to send this to Express Scripts. I'm no longer dealing with CVS. If I continue, they'll be filling a prescription for blood pressure medication. I would add, this isn't my first issue. They booked a vaccination that required 2 injections about 2 months apart. I go to obtain the second one and they ask why I was there? I said because you booked me to have this injection today. The pharmacist says I'm too early, come back in a month. How could I be too early?? YOU booked the return visit. This store is clearly challenged in properly dispensing medication.

Called the pharmacy three times during different points of the day (I know pharmacies can be busy) and was on hold for over an hour each time and no one ever answered. Went in person for them to claim twice they didn’t receive prescription despite Dr sending it in the AM and again while I was in the store. Finally someone checked their fax machine and there were both copies of the prescription after basically gaslighting me and saying I must have it wrong. Made me wait in the super long line twice for this. Never coming to this location again.

They didn't have what I needed and shelves were empty when I wanted to speak with someone no one was around it's pretty bad when you're that way and customer service sucks so you rate poor reviews Corporate America

Tried to reach a live person at the pharmacy over the phone for hours today without success. Automated system cannot resolve my issue as it is useless. It puts me on hold, and then 5 minutes later I get dropped. Time and time again. This is beyond annoying.

Had to run in there today (thanksgiving) I appreciate them being open. But I don’t appreciate the woman who kept following me and my husband around. Then when we checked out at sco she just stood there.. how about you ring me out if you think I’m going to steal?? She came out running from the back the second she heard me scan my item, and just stood there. RING ME OUT NEXT TIME. This cvs is always hit or miss but don’t get me wrong they do have some good folks there.

The pharmacy staff is kind of rude or at least impatient. Hold times when calling are upwards of 20 minutes. Then when they answer they are annoyed even when you tell them that you got a text message stating to call the pharmacy. Unfortunately it's the only one in Wakefield so I have to deal with it. Although Walgreens is just down the street.

Hey cvs, I gotta say, your staff is so good at being rude! They've really mastered the art of not having any compassion! i went here today with 2 friends and was rushed out because we were laughing and walking around. 2 RUDE ladies said to hurry up youve been in here long enough and leave! so rude and two different staff members followed us around chronically, i would give this a 0/5 if i could but sadly google doesn’t allow this so i have to give it a one, honestly go to walgreens instead because the walgreens employees don’t follow you around or rush you out, thank you for coming to my ted talk

I went to pick up a prescription at the drive thru. I was told that their system was down and they couldn’t access insurance information for customers or something along those lines. My prescription is typically free with insurance. I was told I could come back in 2 weeks or pay $35 and then come back in 2 weeks for a refund. The lady who helped me was nice. So I said sure I’ll pay it and come back for the refund. I needed the medication and didn’t want to wait because I was traveling for a few weeks. After I got back from my trip, I brought the receipt in. They wouldn’t give me a refund without my cvs express scripts card. Another week went by, I came back with the card and was told by a rude employee that “oh its been a month so now you have to call insurance.” Wow, no one told me this in the first place and she didn’t even give me a chance to thoroughly explain the situation. So I call insurance and they tell me I need to call cvs caremark customer service. Luckily, the lady was super helpful but now I need to fill out a claim..So dumb and such a waste of time.

So grateful to Natalia! I left cash in the machine at self checkout yesterday. I phoned and she had it. She refused a reward saying it was her job. Thank you!

The pharmacy line is always at minimum 5 people, I just waited fifty mins for 2 perscriptions, and after the wait, I had to wait again while they billed my insurance correctly. Not sure why they would have billed it incorrectly in first place, at one point there were 8 employees behind the pharmacy counter, with 12 people in line, and only one helping

I really like this CVS. The personnel seem pleasant and efficient, both at the same time. I love how all the shelves always seem fully stocked and it is quite clean and tidy. My favorite CVS store.

Encouraged to use the CVS app but there is no ability to cancel a prescription that I no longer use. Then wasting 15 mins on hold just to tell the pharmacy AGAIN that I no longer use this medication.

I called in to renew a prescription for my husband that was filled three previous times. I received a text saying they will contact my doctor for a generic substitute. Why? I called and no one could answer me. I told them not to fill it until I check with doctor and my insurance company that pays half the premium and leaves me with a payment of $105.00 because we are covered for this medication. I was very clear about not doing anything until I check with my husbands doctor. There was also a second prescription for another eye drop which they said they would fill. I get a text message from CVS saying the prescriptions are ready and I look at the note attached and they went ahead and filled the brand name and set the price at $201.99! (When the one drop was picked up they told me they were identical prescriptions and they absolutely are NOT!! And they have filled both in the past too). One is a steroid and the other is an anti-rejection medication for a cornea!) Anyway, did they not listen when I told them NOT to fill the second prescription? And what happened to the text they sent me saying they needed to check with my doctor on Monday? They have a real problem with Brand Name drugs. I had two prescriptions sent there for myself and one was just never filled and I called several times to check the status and the woman was rude to me and it was never ever filled! I had my doctor call another drug store and I got it the very next day! The second prescription was for low dose aspirin and they argued with me at the pharmacy that I didn't need a script for that because they sell it in the store! Well my doctor when I left the hospital wanted me to have it as a prescription (plus it is cheaper) so who are they to tell me I don't need it?
