Needed salt for the pool. Most everyone local was out of stock. Those that did have it, were asking ridiculous prices. I called NSPS, they had it and it was reasonably priced! Quick, friendly service when I picked it up. Perfect!

I have leaks in my in-ground pool, probably in the return lines from the filter. In the fall I called to to set up a repair, they said they could come in April. After my calling again in April, when they said they had no record of my previous request,CJ did come. He said a valve on my filter was leaking and needed to be replaced, about a week to order it. Also because we suspected line leaks to be in the lines, we removed the plugs to see if the water level dropped with the system not operating when he returned with the part. Three weeks passed, no part. I called and they said they didn't have my credit card number on file, which was wrong because they had used it to charge me for the service call. They ordered the part and came to install it when I wasn't home. They didn't open the cover to see if the water level had dropped (it HAD). So after 2 visits and hundreds of dollars, my problem isn't solved.

I have been a customer at North Shore for 10 years. Shopping here is a delight. Top notch customer service and friendly knowledgeable assistance. After venturing to another store and receiving subpar assistance, I realized how lucky I am to have access to the staff at North Shore. Give them all of your business!

Wish I could give 0 stars. Owner was rude and did not want to test my pool water. Never going there again.Are those products only sold there?If you don't want to test anyone's water for free then you should charge it for anyone that doesn't make the purchase that day.And next time lock your dogs so that they don't scare little kids that walk into the store. Don't you worry I'm never going back to your store, which by the way has terrible reviews, you should work on that.

I walked in with my 10+year old Polaris vacuum because it stopped working last season. Within 40 minutes I walked out with a fixed vacuum. Wow! I fully expected to wait weeks not minutes. Chris, the owner, always has been exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful and personable for the many years we've been a customer.

We called asking for our pool to be partial opened and specifically asked to let us know when they arrived so that we can see what happens during the equipment inspection as we just bought the house and would like to learn the system. I called at the end of day assuming nobody came, and I noticed I was charged. Was told they knocked on the side door around noon , I have guests in the room and very clearly that did not happen. I also have a phone and working doorbells, which clearly wasnt attempted either, I definitely would have heard the front door knocked as well. Not happy that they didnt notify me or give me any sort of report following the visit, nor installed all pool equipment. I have no idea what was actually done during the visit besides turning the pump on. People I called in the office clearly did not care, was told some information gathered onsite but it's apparent they werent onsite for more than 5 minutes. Should have listened to other reviews.
