Over the past 22 years I have purchased around 12 new Subarus between IRA Subaru in Danvers, MA and Belknap Subaru in Tilton, NH. My buying experience at both of those dealerships was outstanding. I was treated fairly and honestly.Sadly, I cannot say the same for the Wakefield, MA Subaru dealership. Recently, I was given an on-line estimate of my trade in vehicle at $24,694. The new vehicle I was interested in had a MSRP of $34,166 and it had what they call “lowest possible price” of $31,666.I was intrigued by the numbers and drove down to have them look at my potential trade-in. My trade-in was in mint condition, so I wasn’t expecting the actual appraised value to be much different. Boy was I wrong, they gave me a trade-in value of $16,000 and the new vehicle lowest possible price disappeared, as they quoted me the actual MSRP of $34,166.So instead of putting up around $10,000 to obtain the new vehicle, they wanted more like $20,000. They made no effort to change the numbers and offered no apogee for my wasted trip. My wife who was with me, is usually passive during a sales process. Not this time, I thought she was going to punch out the sales guy.I understand the supply chain is still not 100%, and I understand that a business needs to make a profit, but to draw a potential customer in with deceptive numbers like that is totally unacceptable.

If i could give this review a 10 i would. My sales lady was maria malave, when you go there ask for her she is the nicest lady ever and knows what she is talking about when it comes to a car you want to enjoy and have fun in.the manager and finance guys are also very nice people they are very respectful and honest.i love this car it is my dream car!!! Thanks again maria and subaru of wakefield!

I had a great experience buying my Outback with Kordell. He was patient with my questions and I felt like he really cared about my feelings through what can be a stressful time buying a car. I’d go back to him and Subaru of Wakefield again!

Went to go buy a battery terminal for my 2019 Subaru BRZ because mine was corroded. Staff was super helpful in explaining the difference between an OEM battery terminal and a universal one. In my case, an OEM one was necessary because there were additional fuses attached to the terminal. They had the part in stock and I was able to purchase there and then! Thank you Subaru.

wakefield subaru: entire car buying experience was easy and enjoyable...sales assoc was very informative and pleasant.. no pressure.... answered all questions and more...have referred a few friends that are in the market for a new vehicle to your dealership due to the great experience we had....our purchase was a beautiful new forester to replace our 2014 forester...beautiful car.. we could not be happier

Had a great experience shopping here. Taken seriously from the start, helped right away, my salesperson Kordell was not your typical pushy salesman. Was a pleasure working with him, I highly recommend him. Anytime I reached out to him he answered right away and was super knowledgeable. No matter which car I asked about. Kordell helped me narrow down my search and we were able to select a car that was a perfect fit. Each person I encountered at this dealership was super friendly and helpful. Unlike other dealerships where they don't even give you the time of day. I recommend Subaru of Wakefield highly!

I will be clear and honest about my experience with Subaru of Wakefield. This will blow your mind.I went to Subaru of Wakefield with my two-year-old daughter. I wanted to test drive the Outback Wilderness; I was clear that I only wanted to test drive and would not be purchasing that day. After the test drive, they did the whole old-school song and dance of "Let Me Talk to My Supervisor." I asked for the price, and the salesperson (Al) wrote down the best offer on a piece of paper but told me that I was not allowed to take the document or photograph it like a secret CIA document. While all this was happening, my daughter was crying, and I told the salesperson (Al) that my daughter, a two-year-old toddler, was hungry and that I would need to go. To which he replied, "We are all hungry here." Yes, that was the actual response of a grown man trying to make a sale.Besides that, Subaru of Wakefield NEVER replied to my emails. I sent them three different emails (check their records).I ended up purchasing the vehicle from Cityside Subaru.This response was copied and pasted from my Subaru of America Survey that is sent to all their new customers.

My 80 year old parents brought their 12 year old car there to get it checked out. They were told the car needed 10k in repairs and they should junk their car. They were in tears when they left. Worried sick because they are on a fixed income and couldn’t afford a new car or afford the repairs. They didn’t know what they were going to do. This is their only means of transportation to get to the doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, medical tests and so on. I told them to get a second opinion and so glad they did. The car is fine. This only leads me to believe they are only out to get a sale. Taking advantage of someone just to sell a car is disgusting. They should be ashamed for what they put my parent's through.

He takes the time to go the extra mile and put a smile on the Customers face. David made my choice to buy the new Forester a no brainer! He knew everything you could possibly want to know about the car. He also sat with me for an hour and went over each feature, so now I feel like I’m getting the most out of my car because I’m using all of it! They also were more than happy to give me a fair trade in deal for my old Honda. Subaru of Wakefield is the way to go!
