“I truly do not know where to begin to say how wonderful this entire group is to deal with. Started with Sam who was the most kind, patient, helpful person during me booking a consult with them. He was honestly so professional and I was grateful to have his help. Our visit with them was just as wonderful. We met Sam and he was just as great and met with Brenda Bouffard, DVM. Our kitty has dental problems and Dr. Bouffard, had so much empathy for our pet. So nice to see true compassion. I feel we are in the best hands possible. This office is wonderful. If you are in need of a vet, no question, please call them.”
“Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my little boy. I layed down with him on the floor at DAH for his last hours sobbing that the time had come. I’ve been a client at DAH for 25 years. 3 out of my 5 dogs have had their last moments there as well as the 5 of them getting routine care. Over the last year I have spent a lot of time there. Always greeted with excitement and love by the receptionists, always greeted with kindness and professionalism by the vet technicians when in the exams rooms, and always given wonderful thorough and thoughtful care by the Drs (especially Dr. Anderson). But, it isn’t just those moments that stand out… it’s the little ones… the ones when I am waiting for my pups to come back into the exam rooms… when I hear the staff traveling back and forth doing there work out back… hearing them interact with every animal they are caring for, these people are SPECIAL! Their jobs are not easy… they do it because they love animals and the people who love animals… life isn’t perfect… and none of us are… but, I wouldn’t want another team of people caring for my four legged fur family. I am beyond grateful to each and every staff member. I just got off the phone with Lois who called to check in. You are all angels on earth!”

“I’m a brand new cat mom, I was worried about sneezing and just in general got her from a shelter wasn’t sure if everything they said was true or not so we went for our first visit. Dakota and Dr. Sam were so great! They were patient and kind. Took the time to answer my questions without making me feel incompetent ? obviously I want my girl Zoey to be healthy and thrive but I am happy to know we have someone to trust and care for her if we need it.POV you just left the vet and you realized your new people love and care about you. “We are deeply grateful to VCA City Cats Hospital, especially Dr. Palopoli, for the exceptional care they provided to our beloved cat, Meatloaf. Dr. Palopoli is an outstanding vet — incredibly smart, attentive, and deeply compassionate. She has a fantastic bedside manner and truly knows her stuff.
In Meatloaf’s final appointments, she made sure he was comfortable and cared for every step of the way. When the time came to say goodbye due to his age, Dr. Palopoli guided us through the process with so much empathy. She explained everything ahead of time so there were no surprises, and gave us the time and space we needed to be with him. Afterward, she even sent a personalized card that meant so much to us during such a difficult moment.
The rest of the staff was also excellent — always professional, kind, and respectful in every appointment we had. I wish I remembered everyone's names because they all deserve credit for the thoughtful and skilled care they provide.

The care they showed him and the kindness they gave to us, the humans, made it a bit less awful. We got a wonderful note from Dr. Binder after it all happened, and it was much appreciated.”
“We saw Dr. McEwan today after moving to Massachusetts from California, and wow. I've never had a vet be so thorough, thoughtful, and informative.
After reviewing our 5-month old pup's records with me, Dr. McEwan spent a solid 10-15 minutes answering questions and giving me breed-specific training advice. For example, when doodles grow up, they often hate getting their paws touched, so Dr. McEwan explained how to desensitize/train our labradoodle for nail cutting.
Truly above and beyond care, and our pup had a great time at the vet.

“I've been going to Mill Brook for the past 5+ years, through all the recent personnel changes, and one thing has always been true- they are caring, thorough, and thoughtful. They are always willing to take the time to answer any questions I might have, and I know they adore my pup and only want what's best for him. During his most recent procedures (which were fairly extensive), I never felt pressured to do more/less than what I thought was necessary after getting all the facts from Dr. P. and Dr. Suzanne. I also find it very helpful that they can do everything at this location- echos, ultrasounds, dental work, etc- it makes it very convenient!”
“This place has always made me and my pups feel welcomed and heard! When we lost one of our fur babies to a hit and run a year ago they were so helpful with everything! Dr. Dunn is amazing with my pups and always remembers them. They love him and are always excited to see him. It is a little expensive but my boys are given great care so they are worth it.”

“From the 1am phone call immediately followed by a visit. My fiancé and I felt that our old pup was in good hands. I am especially appreciative of the fact that they didn’t encourage us to do any bloodwork or anything extra since they felt pretty strongly that the symptoms our pretty girl had would subside. Our girl had signs of “old dog” syndrome and happy to report that within a day and a half she appears to progressing. I believe they hit the nail right on the head. “If I could give them 20 stars, I would. This place and these people are GOD SENDS. My two little dogs are my whole world and they have taken such incredible care of them, I have cried out of gratitude. I moved here from out of state and I couldn’t get in any vet for months. When my one dog needed potentially emergent surgery they squeezed her in the next day and we have been going there ever since. I love these people and am so incredibly grateful for them.”
