First time here, brought my cat in because he hasn’t been feeling well. They got me in immediately and were so kind and compassionate. Highly recommend this place!

Cannot say enough good things about Norfolk County Vet. Everyone from reception to the technicians, and of course all of their doctors, are so kind and compassionate. They make my dog feel like a queen when she comes in and I'm happy to trust them with her medical care.

Front desk staff is extremely rude, especially Nicole. When we had questions about the appointment we brought our puppy to on what was actually done during the appointment and by whom, we were given attitude and told to make another appointment and pay $85 to see the vet to go over everything. Even requesting our puppy's medical records was like pulling teeth and were given incomplete documents via email that had a "?" next to the date as if they were uncertain if what was documented was accurate or not.No one seems to know what is going on in there. Another front desk staff member was also confused as to why two separate doctors had signed off on the same form stating they were the one who administered the vaccine and assessed our puppy and why there would be a question mark on the notes so she had to go ask a manager. They also stated they could not give actual dates when vaccines were given in the medical records chart/system in the computer because their system "doesn't work like that" and we have to just look at the receipt.Emailed medical paperwork from their office stated a doctor Christina M. Poor signed off on paperwork "hereby certify" that she administered a vaccine and examined our puppy but another doctor, Dr. Amelia Ragon, is listed stating she administered the vaccine and examined our puppy. No one knows who did what or when and can't seem to figure it out. Ultimately due to all of the confusion and frustration on what was going on, their way of handling the confusion/mistakes/uncertainty, Nicole at the front desk who previously refused to answer any questions & concerns we have stated "maybe our office isn't the right fit for you".This place just wants you to come in and pay $85 to talk to the vet (whom they have no idea who really saw our puppy or administered the vaccine) to get everything straightened out. They pushed vaccines that our puppy already received where we provided documentation but Nicole said "doesn't count" because their office didn't administer the vaccines themselves and "it is ok to be double vaccinated". They prescribed and charged us for unnecessary medication our puppy did not need that they ultimately had to refund us for and plenty more.We highly recommend going elsewhere for the care of your animals.

We have been bringing our pets here for over two years and have always had a very good experience. The team is knowledgeable, caring, and always takes time to answer our questions or explain things in detail. I especially appreciate the follow-up calls to check in on our pets after they have received care.

Great vets office, they take very good care of my kitties. When one of my boys had to go in for an echo on his heart - they said he was so well behaved (and I’m sure they made him comfortable to feel this way) that they didn’t even have to sedate him! Saved me so much money and kitty didn’t need to be sleepy that was amazing! The receptionists are also so patient and kind, answering all of my insane questions about my cats. Shout out to the receptionists for putting up with all of my phone calls!! They are truly the best!!

We've been bringing our Guinea pigs and chinchillas to Norfolk Animal Hospital for several years now, and we have had consistently positive experiences. The staff here is truly great! We have had the pleasure of working with both Dr. Tami and Dr. Richard on multiple occasions, and they have always been wonderful.Recently, we had to make the difficult decision to put down one of our beloved pets. It was a heart-wrenching time for us, but we are immensely thankful for the compassion and care that Dr. Tami showed towards our sweet baby girl during this tough time. They made the process as comforting as possible for us, and we genuinely appreciate their understanding and support. It's never easy to say goodbye to a cherished pet, but having a veterinary team that genuinely cares about animals and their owners makes all the difference. We highly recommend Norfolk Animal Hospital for their exceptional care and empathy.

My Guinea pig passed away this week. She had endometriosis and it was getting too painful. We’ve been seeing Dr. Tami for the past few years and she’s so loving and caring especially during Piggy’s last moment. I couldn’t thank her more for being supportive and kind! Other staffs are super friendly as well. Norfolk is also one of the most efficient vet I’ve visited.

I am giving 2 start not 1 because part of my and my dogs overall experience with them over 6 months or so was positive. But if you want to build a long term care with a provider for your dog, I would not recommend them. My dog was treated for the wound on top of his head near his ear and was also given an ear cleaning anti fungal, anti bacterial drops. The total expense was over $225, may be little more than that. I was sent home with meds for his wound and those ear drops. They suggested additional drops that would cost $40 per ear and I refused that as I already had Zymox and Bayer drops at home and the doctor did not object to that when I said that. So it was definitely not a prescription drug.A week or little more later I called them to report that the wound hasn't healed well and he still scratching his ears. I was told I would be charged again for the visit plus additional for treatment. Owning a dog is expensive I understand but this kind of dis-compassionate capitalism is totally disappointing. Is it too much to ask for a free follow up within 10 days for the exact same unresolved issue especially when you have already spent over $225?And the last straw was the representative just banged the phone on me when I said I was going to share my recent experience and that they are going to lose a customer/patient.
