I thought it was going to be hard, but they have great vegetarian options! I had the warm Buddha bowl. We had a nice table in the window where it's not as noisy. My dinner partner had an oyster burger with truffle fries, and he raved about it. He said, best burger in a very long time. The Buddha bowl was served warm with cauliflower, beets, squash, chickpeas, qinoa, and avocado. It was wonderful. I really wanter to try the nutella pizza for dessert, but there were only 2 of us, and for $20 it seemed too much for us the handle. I wish they had a personal pie size to try. So we had no dessert. Dont come if you are in a hurry. Service is slow, so take your time and relax.

The brunch is unreal! I had the best breakfast sandwich i have ever had hands down- the morning staple breakfast sandwich. The home fries were also very good, and I do not normally like home fries. They have an entire eggs Benedict menu that my friend ordered from and also the same for bloody Mary's fixtures. The cinnamon bun skillet was unbelievable- warm, gooey and covered in icing. The waitress was really nice and attentive as well. It was very busy so I would recommend making a reservation. There is a parking lot around the corner in the back- but you have to enter through the front door. I wish I could have brunch here everyday.... If you are a brunch person this is a must

Went on a busy Saturday night with a reservation and got seated right away. Our server was excellent and attentive and the food came out pretty quickly for a scratch kitchen on a busy weekend night. The vegan quinoa burger had a satisfying texture and was flavorful. The fries were addictive. The vegan French toast was filling and enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend it as the only thing you get for your meal because it's basically just 3 pieces of bread. However as a second entree or even a dessert it's a solid choice. Definitely plan to return here sometime. It does get busy and loud inside so I'd like to try it for lunch or on a weekday to see if it's quieter.

Great spot on Moody St.! I have been for brunch and dinner. It is an American restaurant with a HUGE menu. The Brunch menu is one of the largest I have seen. The food and drink options are great. Everyone is bound to find something they like. The service was great the few times I have been, no complaints there. It can be a pretty busy spot, so I would recommend making a reservation. There is parking on the street (parallel) or lots available; depending on time/day there may be a charge, but it's pretty cheap. Pictured is from Brunch menu - Chicken and NOT Waffles and the Bacon Supermelt Sandwhich. Not pictured was the Short Rib Hash. All were delicious.

Great atmosphere and the food is delicious. I've taken many people here including my 87 year old father and everyone loves it. Great for brunch!

Loved the food, service (our server Debbie was amazing) and vibrant atmosphere. Had the best quinoa burger. They had a bunch on veg options too. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Bistro 781! First time here, definitely will come back. We went on Friday night for a late dinner + drinks. There was a band playing and the bar seemed pretty lively. Picking dinner was tough! We were really hungry and everything sounded amazing haha. What we ordered: Cider Mule and I had a pear drink (I forget the name, it was a margarita inspired beverage). Both tasty but a bit sweet. For dinner, steak and cheese egg rolls (fire) and a caesar salad (obviously). Yum!! Also had the braised beef with gnocchi which was really good! The brussel sprouts could've been softer but hey- we ate it. Sooo many dessert drink options, got the butterfinger martini which was amazing. Our waiter was chill considering we were definitely his last table of the night. Can't wait to go back :)

Food tastes better than it looks! Good location right on moody street if you're interested in bar hopping. Quinoa burger was massive and the wings were solid as well. Cooked perfectly but I will say I was expecting some type of sauce or spicy rub for the hot wings. They were plain but tasted solid. Service was just okay but we came on a very rainy day and the staff was distracted by a very good football game on. Looking around at the other plates that passed I think I'll come back and try breakfast instead of lunch.

Drinks are good and the ambience is a bit loud so consider another place if you want to have a serious conversation, is a fun place to grab beers/drinks with friends, watch a game, or just chill and eat delicious meals, I loved their vegan options.

We came for brunch. Food was tasty, but service and atmosphere were lacking.Very loud, we were missing food items, and our table was forgotten about by the window.Requests for missing items also were very delayed. This left our food getting cold, as some items were requested to enjoy the meal, but were delivered so late that some of us started eating and finished our plate by the time something simple, our syrup and other condiments, were brought. There was no one in sight to wave down. And we were visiting important friends- which is where we wanted to spend our time, not hunting for assistance. And we never received one of our drinks. We were one of maybe 4 tables at that hour. No staff in sight except the host. All could have been easily avoided with some care and attention. Perhaps bringing condiments out first in a caddy (might not be stylish, but if your staff can’t remember to check, then it is at least functional). But perhaps things are not very organized in the back of house? We had a decent sized check, however, the business did nothing but the bare minimum to earn it. For which, we could have served ourselves somewhere else.Won’t be coming back, but we wish the business and its employees well.

Have enjoyed a number of visits to this spot. Food is good with many vegan and other healthy options. Pretty pricey $15 bowl with $10 chicken add for lunch. That was one thing but I preferred a cup of coffee and got a small mug, which would have been fine (maybe 8 ounces of coffee) EXCEPT it was SIX dollars!!!! Seriously??? I would NEVER order coffee at this place. I have never heard of a price this high for a plain black coffee, which is 90% water! This really made us angry and we won't be returning. We felt really screwed.
