I've been here twice for car repairs: August and December 2021. The second time, there were issues with my tie rod and a power steering line. They started the repair and I suddenly remembered that the power steering line was what they fixed in August. I had the ~$200 charge on my cc, but I had lost the receipt. I mentioned this but also knew I couldn't hold them responsible without that receipt. The mechanic (the owner's son) said he could tell the damaged steering line was new + saw the ~$200 charge on my credit card statement. That was enough for them to repair it again for free. I also asked him to take a quick look and let me know how long I had let with this Jeep (it's given me a ton of trouble). While on the lift, they saw damage to my frame. It was tucked away and hard to see but he took the time to really look. He sent me photos and warned me about forthcoming issues, encouraging me to pursue a trade-in ASAP. When I came to get the car, the owner told me the same and gave me some advice on how to make sure I got a good price for the car. Long story short, I have a new car on the way and got a great trade-in value for the car. Every time I've come, I have gotten a really good price (based on research). In the past, I've gone to shops by myself and felt patronized -- they don't help me understand the issues and don't answer my questions. It's as if they don't think I need to know what's going on and should just pay and shut up. That didn't happen here. They saw that I wanted to understand how X problem is fixed, etc. and they explain it to me. They also don't assume I know nothing about cars just because I am a girl. Ladies, go here.
