Had the great pleasure of having Gabriella assist me today with my banking needs. Today was a more stressful day and there was deadlines and agendas I had to juggle so to be able to have a facility close to home and someone 100% reliable - thats just an A++ combo. Would definitely come back to this branch for future banking needs.

It was my first time visiting this branch, and I had a sleeping toddler in my backseat. I was excited to see they had a Drive Thru, but when I pulled up, they appeared to be closed, but someone was in one of the lanes. I called inside to the bank, and Jose answered immediately. I asked if the lanes were closed, and he said they only had one teller, so they did have the lanes closed. As I went to hang up, he says, "If you're out there now, pull up, I'll take care of you!" He had no idea I had a sleeping child in the car, and he was VERY kind and courteous on the phone. I really appreciated the extra step of service here. It was unexpected, but definitely not unnoticed! I will definitely be visiting this branch again! Thanks Jose for a great experience!

This is by far the best branch I've been to. The bank manager, Job, is amazing. Very courteous and is willing to help you with any banking issue. The customer service is also amazing! I completely recommend.

Awful experience. I visited this location and upon letting them know I was here to open a new account I was told and reminded by each teller that they closed at 4 and the only banker was with someone so they advised I come back. Not sure if your first experience with a bank given the volume of options is to have to return to open a new account a Full Hour before closing. I simply walked down the street to the Citizens Bank and they were full of joy and amazing/ accommodating customer service. They were happy to see me and took the time to welcome me and walk me through their offerings. I will never walk back into a Santander again. Awful customer service.

I thought in the interest of any current and potential customers at the bank branch located at 1045 Trapelo Road, Waltham I would write this review! Having been named as the Personal Representative of a relatives estate who had an two accounts at this bank I moved to close the second of two accounts with a balance of less than $700.00! Having given the branch manager the necessary legal and personal documents requested I was told everything would have to be reviewed by "legal" and then it would take 72 hours to close the account! Among the legal documents provided was an Order of the Probate Court designating me as the Personal Representative! Two days later after I had gone to the bank I got a call seeking yet additional information! In exasperation I hung up the phone! However I did provide the unnecessary documentation requested! Having not heard nothing a week later I e-mailed an associate at the bank to get a status update! I was told that the closure had been approved and I would be receiving a check! Over a week later I did receive the notice of the closed account and a check! The check was made out to the estate of the deceased not to me as the trustee!!!! So after being told the account would be closed in 72 hours it took over 3 weeks to receive a check addressed incorrectly! Is it any wonder the bank has lost 34% of its value in the past 5 years?? I called customer service and discussed the ineptitude at this branch but unsure what if anything will be done! I could not believe how this small banking transaction was mishandled! One has to ask how much delay and confusion would exist if the account in question was six figures !! Well it has now been 3 weeks since I posted my concern with the bank and have not heard from anyone! This is in addition to my call at the same time to the bank's Customer Service Dept. No response from them either! So I can only conclude this is what you can expect from a bank owned and operated by a foreign enterprise!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I had the most uncomfortable experience at this bank. I went in to inquire about savings accounts and CDs, sat down and listened to long spiels about mortgages and accounts with fees. The branch manager was really pushy and asked me personal questions about my finances and current banks, tried to put a different savings rate into the computer system to match the bank I got a better rate at... he even said I shouldn't be doing this but maybe they won't notice... it was so skeevy and unprofessional I ended up just saying thank you very much but I'm not comfortable with this and walked out. Will never go back in this bank!!!!!!

Small parking lot Very friendly tellers Conveniently-located on Trapelo Road Drive-up ATM He has to use Santander for work deposits so we have been frequenting quite a few locations lately. The employees are always nice, but the setup of this bank is SO weird. The tellers sit against the left wall and the managers/bankers sit upstairs, behind you and are able to watch you though glass walls. It's SO weird. Of course, the first thing that came to my mind is "how does anyone pick their nose in here? You can see everything." Everything is alright here, but the layout makes you feel like a zoo animal.

Literally took over 1 hour to open ONE checking account. Slower than tortoise but friendly. Only go here if you have all goddamn day so simple stuff.

This location barely shovels a path to the door in the dead of winter. When you reach the door the sign instructs you to remove your hat and sunglasses (A real pain, especially holding the hat when you need your hands to write etc.) I notice now they are changing tellers who seem to last anywhere from 6mos to a year or less. Some of the tellers barley raise their voice yet ask you to do things (excuse me what did you say?) The managers sit elevated at desks which you can see through glass. You get the impression that they are above you not only physically but in life also. This makes them harder to reach and they do not see what goes on below very well at all. They nearly always say "I'll be with you in a minute" and you wonder if that typing they doing ever so slowly is just a stall tactic to put you off. The whole experience seems designed to piss you off. I am giving them one star but would like to give less!
