I was in there for 2 seconds. Went to the perfume section. The older Women in the dressing room area and jewelry area. Proceeded to complain talking about how the couldn't breathe and how spraying wasn't aloud. I understood and the spraying was already over. They continued to throw underhanded comments at us. If you wanna shop, I wouldn't recommend this TJMaxx to a single soul. Waltham has other cute shops you can check out.
( why are you working next to the perfume if you can't stand the smell, if we stopped as you requested why continue to throw comments. )

I was in this TJMaxx 10mins ago and was trying to see whether they have another milk Frothing Pitcher due to the one I wanted to get (the only silver one I like) has scratches on it. And was told this was the only one. The cashier was nice offering that he would like to check with his manager to see whether they can provide an additional discount for me…however, a female sale manager was extremely rude, she even didn’t look at me and chimed in right away directly said that the scratches do not affect function of the pitcher and I can choose go with it or not since she won’t give me additional discounts.Of course, she was right in a sense, if you have a car with scratches on it, that won’t affect the functions of this car neither, however, no one will buy a car with a tiny scratch on it unless the two sides reach an agreement…even if it is sold in TJMaxx, a discount store. I understand the rationale, but her attitude was extremely terrible and rude. Besides, she has terrible math skills.
I left without getting the pitcher due to the reason she was so unprofessional. I will get it with another manager who can convey the same/similar information with a better attitude. That’s why 1 star.

Thank god the staff has changed. One cashier lady was mad that my mom refused to donate to charity and went berserk, telling us to buy one of the shopping bags behind us because she won’t give us paper bags. She was very unprofessional. If it’s some town policy then fine, but she doesn’t need to act like a shrew. She also insisted that we should buy their poor quality bags. People have complained about this lady before. She doesn’t directly benefit from charity. It doesn’t mean it go to her pocket. Strange woman. She threw a few insults along the way. Wow.

Besides the 2 cashiers up front who were kind and helpful, the rest of the staff at this location have bad customer service skills.
