I would give zero stars if I could. Waited in line to pay by credit card. The two cashiers standing right in front of me never informed anyone on the line that their credit card machine wasn't working and that they were only accepting cash. When I went to pay, I was shown a sign that said "cash only" that the associate was clearly too lazy to hang or verbally tell any of us waiting in line to pay. Had to leave everything there and couldn't purchase as I didn't have cash on me. How do you hold up a sign that says "cash only" but then in the next breath say it "just happened?" And how don't you verbally tell customers waiting in line 5-10 minutes the situation? C'mon.

I had a prescription called in, and I received a text stating that it was delayed due to an issue with my insurance. I called Walgreens and spoke with someone who could not help me, so I called my insurance company- I was told the prescription was not even submitted to them and that there were no issues with them covering it. It took me several hours between waiting on hold and speaking to techs, that I was finally able to speak with the Pharmacy Manager, he refused to give me his name and hung up on me when I questioned him about the "issue" (which was never an issue, not sure why they apparently lied) with my prescription. When I picked up my prescription to make sure the amount was correct (because that was also an issue, they only filled an amount of 8, when I was prescribed 24) and he threatened to call the police. I would NOT recommend this pharmacy due to all of these issues.

If I could give zero stars I would. This pharmacy does NOT answer their phones. I was on hold twice for over an hour only to get disconnected. What could possibly be going on there that they don’t answer the phone for over an HOUR? They also cancelled a prescription for no reason after telling me that it would be available after 5pm? Literally who is working here?? I’ve never seen a Walgreens sooo poorly managed. Do not come here.

Beyond horrible experience. Made an appointment for a Covid vaccine online. Showed up to a line of people and when I got the counter a woman who was barely audible asked what I was there for. I told her I was there for the Covid vaccine to which she responded by asking if I also wanted a Flu shot. I told her I'd already received my flu shot so she tells me to have a seat while she gets me paperwork to fill out. While I'm sitting and waiting another man checks in who says he is there for the flu shot and Covid vaccine. There is a lot of chaos behind the counter with staff yelling that they are leaving once this man and I are given our shot (it was later in the day) and they must have asked the other man and I at least 4 more times what we were there for (each time asking me if also want a flu shot). After I fill out the paperwork (that I had already filled out ahead of time online) the lady brings me to the room where she is carrying multiple syringes (I assumed she was carrying mine and the ones for the guy after me). She proceeds to put one in my arm and then tells me to wait while she leaves the room (I assumed she was going to get a bandaid or something). She then comes back and starts putting rubbing alcohol on my arm again and then picks up another syringe. I ask her what it is and she casually tries to say "nothing." I ask her if she just gave me gave flu shot instead of the Covid shot and she mumbles something and tells me no. She puts the syringe in my arm and I ask her to please explain why she as just given 2 shots when I came in for 1. She then tries to tell me the first one as empty (it was not) and asks if I'm going to crucify her. So now I have no idea what I was even given. I just can't believe the disorganization and lack of regard to anything her. I will never be back and cannot advise strongly enough against this place.

I have moved to the area about a year ago and have always used the Walgreens in Taunton. Since using this store, I have never seen a pharmacy more poorly managed. I had several prescriptions sent there for a severe case of bronchitis. As I waited in line for 45 minutes, I saw some interesting issues. This was peak 5pm time. People were starting to get annoyed with the lack of movement. One register open register despite multiple people walking back and forth behind the counter. People starting to complain loudly was only met with silence. The young woman in front of me got to the counter, only to be told that her anti-seizure medication was not available. The staff seemed surprised that “she needed it “After some pushback from the woman, she was told they would do a partial fill.I got to my turn and was told my medications were not ready. I had them sent to the pharmacy three hours before. I had to go back the next day and after another lengthy wait, I was told that the pharmacy didn’t have the inahaler and it would be filled the next day. Then the tech asked “Do you need it ?” - I explained I have a bad case of bronchitis and yes, I did indeed need it. I was told “Oh, I will just fill it now”.How is it possible that I was told one thing 5 minutes ago and now you have it ?!The customer service here is horrible. It isn’t an isolated incident.When my wife had to go to this store for her own prescriptions, she witnessed a situation where customers got into a confrontation. The wait times, the poor customer service, the lack of acknowledgment on the part of the pharmacy and the mismanagement.I have communicated this to corporate Walgreens and they assured me they would be in touch within 48 hours. I never heard anything further. Clearly this is a cultural issue that starts at the top and isn’t going to be resolved.I have transferred all my business to CVS and have been much happier

Maybe it’s bad luck, but whether it’s the convenience store or the pharmacy, I’m always stuck waiting in line. They’re fine for a quick errand, but it’s usually a frustrating experience.

never ever come to this pharmacy, if you can even call it that. no matter if it is empty and your the only one in line , it will take 1/2 hour 45 minutes for someone to help you. i literally clocked them twice. then they told me to come back in 15 minutes. I do what they say and come back to wait another 45 minutes and they say they're out of stock for my prescription. unreal

I wish I could give them zero Stars. I've made Seven calls today and been on hold forever. I hang up after about 25 minutes. It keeps telling me I'm the next person in line. Then I called and it said it would call me back in approximately 4 minutes. Never got that call. Made another call and was told I'd be called back in 1 minute. That call never came either. Called and ask for the store manager and got hung up on. Called and asked for the store manager and was given manager of the front end. He told me the manager went home. I said I've been on seven different calls and no response from the pharmacy. He launched into a tirade about how most of their techs have walked out on them in the last week, how there is only one person with 12 people in line, and that they will not answer the phone. I said never mind and hung up. I'm switching back to CVS, although reluctantly.

I recently switched to Walgreens from CVS. I did this because Walgreens helped me fill a script that CVS didn’t have in stock. The Customer service seemed super friendly and I thought it might be nice to have this experience moving forward. However, my very first month prior to switching over, I have been waiting 2 days now for a script with no communication. I have been calling only to wait on hold too long and have to hang up. Today I called and decided to wait out the hold time. I wait 1 hour and 10 minutes!!!!! Then a rep picked up the phone and hung it up without speaking. I’m so upset and frustrated! I would like to convey what happened with someone of authority at Walgreens. However, I just keep getting put into the Queue that took 1hour last time around.I think I will move back to CVS. This is not a good sign as my first experience with Walgreens pharmacy. Unfortunate!!

Had a confirmed web appointment for a vaccine. Arrived on time. Pharmacist said I'd have to wait 40 minutes. Why? No explanation other than "I'm busy." But there was no one else in the store. I asked for explanation... he aggressively wrote "40 mins!" in big letters and held it up to me. No apology, just "my time is more important than yours." Color me done with Walgreens.

Really bad interaction with a woman at the register today. She was watching videos on her phone when I approached. We had a question about our products and pricing she was short with her answer. It was easier to purchase online. When I walked away to order she talked to her manager behind my back about my situation in generally unfriendly terms. Manager did not help the situation, but did get me out quickly and efficiently by doing his job.
