Absolutely horrible experience at this store.
I regularly use order pickup for my deliveries, but today was beyond frustrating.
This morning, I placed a pickup order scheduled for 4–5 PM. I received a notification that my order was ready, so I drove to the store—only to be told that their system was down and they weren’t processing any pickup orders today.
Not only did I waste gas and an hour of my day, but the payment had already been deducted from my account. I was told my only options were to either cancel the order and wait 1–10 business days for a refund, or wait until the system is possibly back up tomorrow to see if I could get my groceries.
I have children to feed. This was my weekly grocery budget. I even asked if they could provide a gift card in the meantime so I could shop in-store—they said they had no way to do that.
How does a company as large as Walmart not notify customers of a major system outage? Even worse, when I called customer service, they had no idea. They kept insisting my order was ready until I told them the system was down.
This is absolutely unacceptable.

This is a review of a pick up experience. They are cutting back on bags. My Clorox cleaner with bleach was not bagged separately. Found upside down in a bag with other food. Leaked out from neck of bottle. All over that bag and onto the deli meat next to it. On the app relayed my experience and asked for credit on the meat and cleaner. I salvaged all the other items that were wet. Was told they would have to be returned at the store. So mad and inconvenienced. All due to poor packaging and carelessness. This is my last pickup order. Will be deleting the app and have removed my payment method. No response from Walmart. Too big to care.

They wouldn’t exchange a bag of decaf coffee for a bag of regular coffee for the exact same price. The customer service representative was rude about it as well.
