I would have given this company 5 stars until the very end spoiled it for me. The quote was fair, they showed up on time, I really liked the moving team... but after our furniture was set up in our new home. I noticed damage to our two beds... that's when there was a change of attitude. I was concerned about damage to my furniture... they were concerned about how they were going to get paid? I even spoke with the manager Wayne who didn't apologize and minimized the situation. He explained that I had chosen their standard insurance option (at that point I hadn't but made a mistake of signing something without my glasses after I got off the phone with Wayne). That paper locked me into a ridiculous insurance that provides customers with .60 cents of insurance based on the weight of the item damaged? So my $2400 dollar bed that was moved and damaged is worth $45 dollars according to the company? I was so thankful that nothing else was damaged and I didn't have damage to my home. I even thought what if the truck caught fire on the way to my new home... is our entire house of furniture and beloved items worth less than a good bottle of wine according to the insurance & the moving company... probably. The company is insured, but if you use Liberty Moving... make sure you ask the questions I didn't and that you are covered.
**Update the company did do what they said they would and are sending a tech to fix our furniture. Very pleased they came through for us and are going to fix our furniture that they damaged.

The driver (Daryl) was highly skilled and put us at ease with his calm and knowledgeable demeanor. A former employee connected us with Liberty and Wheaton was their local representative. That former employee had been responsible for a large New England logistics department and had used Liberty on many occasions within the New England area. Her recommendation was a defining one for this work. Both the packing crew and loading crew at the pick-up location in Worcester Mass were exceptional. Excellent packing and smooth and efficient work in that process. Arrived on time, worked diligently throughout the morning until the tasks were all completed. They also suggested some very helpful and cost saving ideas to us during the packing process. We had a great deal of original and valuable artwork to be boxed and protected for this move and everything arrived perfectly and within any problems whatsoever. Their suggestion to use TV boxes to save us time and money in packing and packaging costs worked out perfectly. Great idea! On the receiving side we enjoyed the teams excellent work and careful attention to our goods. Extremely professional and skilled getting the truck unloaded and our goods carefully placed within our new home exactly as requested. Very good attitudes and friendly demeanor. It was a pleasure to work with them. The area is a difficult one to navigate due to road restrictions and tight spaces. The driver navigated these obstacles flawlessly. As to the back office support, Jason in the early stages to review the work and provide and estimate of costs and time required through to Gabrielle keeping us informed and providing the final costs and providing communications and updates as the job progressed were all executed very well providing a seamless experience for us from start to finish. The costs estimated ended up being higher than the final costs due to weight and that was also a very nice surprise for us. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who asks and thank you for doing such a terrific job for us. We are nearly completely settled now and no damages or surprises as we unpacked all those boxes. There was some damage done to the door jamb of the home we moved out of in Worcester (pictures sent to you by your driver) due to the hand trucks used to haul out the items from the home to the truck. I believe you are addressing that with a handyman of your choice to sand and repaint that damaged area. All in all, it was a highly successful move.

I moved from RI to MA. The movers were on time and kept me informed. A mirror was broken and Wayne took the initiative to contact me to remind me to fill out an insurance form.

This company is the BEST! Two men moved my mother and I from one apartment to another on the second floor in February. It started snowing and the kept on going, got it done in 8hrs even rolled the rugs out and placed the furniture. We we're very impressed! Definitely using them the next move and I promise Liberty single level or elevators. 😃

Recently used this moving company to relocate my belongings and I cannot recommend their services. Communication was minimal and it was not the level of care I intended for my possessions when researching moving companies in MA. I did my due diligence for a reason. The quote for time-worked was fair-value, though there are several companies that service the area with similar estimates that are based on actual-time worked without a minimum of set hours. Despite the truck bed being lined with protective equipment and blankets, none were used for my belongings. While nothing was damaged in significance, the lack of regard in the process was evident. I appreciate haste, but not at the expense of my things. I was also asked to move/transport heavy things during the process which I equally find inappropriate during paid service.
I tried to provide fair, neutral feedback via email in lieu of a formal, public review but my email was ignored, much like my phone calls the morning of the job. No one called in advance to let me know they were on their way even though I was given a range of time to meet at the pick-up location, and no one at the business was available when I took the initiative to call myself. Having room for professional growth is one thing, but to completely ignore your customer who had no intention of seeking comp after full payment is just plain rude and tacky. I would rather give my business to these local companies, but this level of disregard is unacceptable.

I had used this company two years ago to do a local move. They did such a fabulous job, I asked them when I needed moving - AGAIN. The same crew came out, Preston and Tyler for packing the day before, and Preston, Tyler and Russ on moving day. They were on time, worked really hard and made it so my moving day (to me!) was not stressed. They did great, despite the fierce cold and wind off the water. Can’t say enough about the crew.

Liberty Movers did a wonderful job packing out my elderly mom for a move to Independent living. They were punctual, efficient, polite, and above all else, kind to my mother. We could not be happier with the job they did, and would 100% recommend them to anyone.

GOLD STANDARD RATING… in packing and moving. I cannot rave enough about Preston and Tyler for their professionalism and efficiency in my emergency pack and ship that I required due to an arm injury.
Wayne, boss man put together a turn around crew in light speed time and sent me Preston & Tyler, who proved to be exceptional! They not only got me packed and moved in 2.5 days, they also went out of their way to make sure I was doing well with the injury and pain that I was in.
Both Preston & Tyler were on time, ready to dig in to get the job done, but always asked questions if they were unclear about anything. They took care of fragile items with kid gloves and made certain that I was pleas

We used Liberty to move our mom's furniture and household items from a condo in Wareham to an assisted living facility. Special shout out to Dawon and Russ, who were professional, capable, careful, and kind, taking extra time to make our mom feel really special. They worked very quickly too - so much so that the final price for Mom's move was just a bit more than half of what Liberty's estimate had been. We could not be happier with the service provided by the Liberty team.

So glad we found this company on Google. Last week they moved my grandmother who was “downsizing” but wanted to take every large heavy piece of furniture with her. The furniture is old and solid, not made with any screws or nails just woodworkers craftsmanship. They successfully got all her things out and moved into her new place in a few hours!

I am posting his review for my parents who are not internet saving. They just had move part 1 out of storage to the new house. Move part 2 from the house will be in the coming weeks. We highly recommend Liberty for anyone going through the madness of moving or needing storage. We have used them multiple times.
