I’ve been using this bank for a while and have always had a great experience banking here. Arshag really goes above and beyond to help when I have any concerns. Highly recommend!

My husband and I came in to open up a business account. We left the credit Union account at our other bank to open it up at Santander for convenience with money transfers between our business and personal accounts. The woman who started with us asked WHY MY BUSINESS ADDRESS DID NOT MATCH THE ADDRESS ON MY PERSONAL LICENSE. Oh idk because not everyone lives where their business is located!! What??! I was shocked. She got the manager out who was a heavier set hispanic male. I make his race/nationality a point because we always assume it'll be a Caucasian person being extremely racist towards black people but some Hispanics are worse. He came into the room and said because my personal license does not match the license to my business I cannot open up a business account with them. Then proceeded to say that if they did open the account they would send someone to my business address to see if it's a legitimate business address. Has anyone every heard of a bank doing that before?? My husband asked him to go and show us this in this policy and he said it's in their internal employee handbook and policy it is not for the public. My husband and I own 3 successful businesses. We had on hoodies and sweatpants. There is no doubt about it we were discriminated against. I'm disgusted at this branch and that manager. Never judge a book by its cover they missed out on a customer that would have been a wonderful business relationship to have at Santander. Shame on them. I will be filing a report on him at the Santander corporate office and taking this even further. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM.Oh! I went to TD BANK across the street and opened a business account with their manager shortly after in 20mins. With no issues about my personal vs business address and deposited a large check with no questions asked. These two employees at Santander obviously thought my husband and I were there to commit bank fraud before they even got started with us. How dare Santander. DISGUSTING. They'll be hearing from us again.

Worst experience ever! I went to open account and told me to wait about 10mins. It was around 12:05pm. Then the person tole me I need two IDs to open account. I only had driver license. Therefore, she told me I should get one before the bank is closed which is 1pm and asked my phone number. I ran to get my passport and back around 12:45pm. Once I get back to the bank, the clerk told me I was late to open account then let me leave.. such a worst service and attitude. Please don't visit this location!!

This bank is very inconsistent! Every time the ATM has issues and system is always down or have issues. Sometimes they have gas leak and the bank is closed. Not Sure if I will stay with them any longer.

Do not ever go to this bank! The employees are beyond incompetent. I opened an escrow account for a security deposit on an apartment I rent out and this bank at no time told me that they would close the account for non-use. Then, after the account was not used in a few years (because the tenant still lived in the apartment and it wasn't my money to deposit or remove), they sent me a notice saying that I needed to come into the bank with 2 forms of ID to keep the account open. I did so and they took xeroxed copies of both my passport and drivers lisence and then two months later, without any advanced notice of any kind they closed my account and sent the remaining money to the state as "unclaimed funds." When I called they said they had no documentation that I ever came in. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Watertown Savings Bank. Just walk away from this place.

I really want to curse here but I will not. This stupid company caused my credit score dropped 96 points for an unbelievable stupid reason. I did not miss a single payment ever since I have credit score and it was all ruined because that that stupid autopay on their stupid website stopped working for 3 months and they flagged my report !!!!!! I started an auto loan with this company about a year ago, I did not know this company before, the car dealer asked me to use this company. I setup the autopay about a year ago. Then this year on June I found the my credit dropped 96 points and I then found out that my autopay just stopped working for 3 month already. I did not receive any notice that I missed payment and they just flagged me on my credit report. I immediately paid the whole amount and I called the customer service. I thought it will be easy since they can see clearly that my autopay stopped 3 month ago, all they need to do is just cancel the flag. But they replied that they totally understand my situation so they will remove the late fee. BUT according to their stupid rules, it is not their fault, a late pay is a late pay, there's nothing they can do about the flag on my credit. I then calls the customer service to find out how to set up autopay on their stupid website. It takes almost 30 mins for they own customer service to find the autopay settings. I just received my dispute result. My credit increased 39 points after the dispute but the late pay is still there. I got an late than 30 days payment record for no reason. I am going to dispute again this just makes no sense.

This place is the Walmart of banks . Has a different manager every 3-5 months . Certainly no attention is given to clients . Called to discuss my options about an expiring CD account and the lady seemed so disinterested in helping me. Will be closing my accounts and going elsewhere.

I have been an account holder at this branch for years, and yet, while coming to this branch to cash a check, I was treated as a suspicious character, even thought the check I was cashing was verified, my ID was verified, the signature of issuer was verified and the check issuer confirmed the check validity. I was delayed for over 40 minutes to cash this check, treated as as second class citizen and insulted throughout even though, at the end, my transaction was verified and proven to legit. Shameful behavior towards a long time town resident by teller manager and a bank that claims to know you and and to be a community bank that knows and cares about you.

There aren't to many banks around anymore that take care of customers the way the staff at this bank do. Don't change the staff here, they are great. Bank here with confidence.
