Few items have English-language labels, but you can easily find most anything and staff is exceedingly helpful.They make sandwiches in the back: here is the "Polish Combo" which resembles an Italian grinder but with four hams (one smoked) and three cheeses. Staff was super helpful when we asked for specific information, and whenever we encountered staff members they greeted us. We found a lot of Dominican products we miss from home. Some prices are higher than other grocery stores, but we will definitely be back for specific household items. Try not to need to use restroom while here, restrooms don’t lock, your privacy will rely on a sign on door asking to knock before entering.”

“Liquor. Lottery. Newports. They left off two words from the name. Liquor Store. It's, or it should be, Blue Hill Superette Liquor Store. What the heck is a "superette" anyway? The superette is located on prime retail space, too- between Breezeway Bar & Grill and Packy's. Doesn't get much better than that in Boston, I tell ya. So, the spot is BIG, well-lit, clean, and has a more than adequate selection of all the spirits the neighborhood clientele prefers . It even has an ok wine selection, which is really surprising (go 'head, Blue Hill Superette!). The first language of the employees/owner is Spanish, but no worries, they know English, too. Oh, the place is also a little convenience store, too- various corner store items available. The shelves are a little dusty, and I wouldn't buy anything other than liquor here for fear of the expiration date, because again- it's a neighborhood (big) liquor store. That's what you come here for- liquor, lottery, and Newports (if you smoke).”

Walmart just launched Realm, its new 3D online shopping platform. To help you visualize what that means, imagine a virtual mall packed with bright colors, wacky landscapes, and cartoon avatars wandering around. Realm lets you browse "digital doubles" of real Walmart products by navigating through several make-believe worlds. "We believe this is the future of commerce," said Justin Breton, who leads brand experiences at Walmart. "It won't replace our website or app, but will complement them."
Target's new low-cost brand Dealworthy is rolling out this month in stores and online. With items starting at under $1, it is aimed at budget-conscious shoppers. The low prices on basics like phone chargers, paper plates and underwear will likely appeal.
Walmart is growing the number of its physical stores across America. The retail giant announced plans to open 150 new U.S. stores over the next five years while remodeling 650 current locations. Popular Florida-based grocery chain Publix is venturing into uncharted territory - Kentucky. Come 2024, Publix will unveil its inaugural Bluegrass State locations, comprising six stores sprinkled between Louisville and Lexington.
