“I went to an event here today and it was great. I truly enjoyed myself. Venu was clean and the staff Sandro and Paul were amazing! Please use them for your next event.”
“I had a great experience! We did Cabin Fever and the lore of the room was super in depth and interesting. Our escape room guide Brian was super awesome and made the whole experience fun and helped us through. 10/10 recommend! I will be back for sure.”
“Being a member at Musicians Playground has been an amazing experience! A few months ago I joined to get back into playing piano but have since also taken voice, guitar, and drum classes/lessons! I've met so many incredible instructors and other talented members. There is a truly wonderful community at MP!”
“I attended the Materials Research Society (MRS) international conference, which focuses on materials science. This annual conference is held at this venue. The facility includes a spacious area for large corporate exhibition booths. All floors are accessible via escalators, and there are numerous conference rooms available for presentations. December 2024.”
“This hotel has always been amazing. I’ve been throwing my company party here every year, and as always, Krystie and her event staff go above and beyond to make it all happen! I also love staying here because their rooms are top notch.”
“This was super fun for the kids (7,9, and 10). We prepared by watching the Liberty Kids: American Revolution series on YouTube. You get assigned a colonial character, attend a rousing meeting and then throw tea crates into the harbor! Followed by some very cool history lessons - I won't give away the surprises. Great use of modern tech to share historical knowledge. The tea room is a great spot for a snack after.”

“Rooms are a little small, but well appointed for the season traveler - lots of electric plugs not hidden behind furniture.
Staff was great. Very accommodating”
“I visited this location for Valentine’s Day weekend. This luxurious hotel is located by the water. They offer various amenities, including a gym, an indoor pool, and a coffee shop located inside the hotel. I highly recommend visiting this hotel; you will not be disappointed. PS. “Stayed here for my 40th birthday and it did not disappoint! We received an upgraded room, free drink tickets and a complimentary bottle of champagne. All the staff were truly wonderful. This will be the place I stay when visiting Boston from now on! Just absolutely amazing!”
“Went there for winter solstice event at night so only saw a small portion of park. Event was good even though it was cloudy, had a guided tour of some art pieces and leaned a bit about each one. Small cafe had good hot chocolate and some tasty options for sweets.”
“This hotel is more than comfortable and clean and all the staff encountered are overly kind and respectful. From the front desk to the kitchen.
I will definitely stay here anytime I am in the area. The best hospitality ever.”
“This is our second year in a row hosting a paint party with them for our staff of 60, and once again it was absolutely outstanding. The entire event was organized, efficient, and stress-free from start to finish.
The team handled every detail — set-up, supplies, guidance, and full breakdown — which allowed my staff to relax, have fun, and focus on our team-building day. The instructors brought great energy, kept everyone engaged, and made even our “non-artistic” people feel confident and creative.
My team had a blast and is already asking when we can do it again.
Highly recommend for any large group or staff event — they make it so easy to show up and enjoy!”
“The staff at the Boston bowl is impeccable you guys are great from the food service to getting my shoes and to the bar beautiful I really felt comfortable God bless you ?❤️?”
“Great second floor venue for small shows for crowds of up to 250ish. Complete with a full bar, small backstage area with three makeup mirrors, bright HD big screen projector for back wall of stage, stage lighting with lighting booth, audio booth. Venue also supplies chairs and small tables as needed. If you are hosting a fundraiser, or a large wedding reception, or a talent show, similar, you will love this space!”

“A great place for a walk. It started as an opulent estate in the early 20th century, later became a seminary, and is now public property that is leased to the Horticultural Society, which charges admission to the central section on which flowers are grown. There is a nice wooded trail along the Charles River. .”
“State Room: A Longwood Venue is a sophisticated and versatile event space ideal for weddings, corporate events, and special celebrations. The venue is beautifully designed, and the staff are professional and attentive, ensuring every detail is handled smoothly. A stylish choice for memorable and well-organized events.”

“Great sound quality, even in the back where I was sitting. However, the doors to the venue are extremely loud and the ushers weren't stopping people from entering mid-song so it was a bit distracting with them opening and closing constantly.”
“A fantastic exhibition center in Boston! Our company rented a booth here for Seafood Expo North America 2026, and everything exceeded our expectations. The space is vast and modern, with a very clear floor plan that made it easy for our partners to find us (Booth 2883). The management and security teams were highly professional, providing excellent support for exhibitors during setup and product display. Highly recommended as a world-class venue!”
“A small museum, but a great selection of turn of the century automobiles. It's in an old carriage house, so if you are into architecture, you'll appreciate it. There are some early Japanese model cars there. This place is small, but the entry fee is modest, and they offer a military discount.”
“An incredible community gathering space! I’m often meeting kind, committed, and compassionate folks whenever I stop by. They often host storytelling nights and showcase local artists!”
“Beautiful, accommodating, and easy to work with. We had our wedding here in October 2025 and I could not have asked for a better venue. We fell in love with it instantly and, along with our planner, Patrick helped up bring in all the vendors we needed for a perfect weekend.”
“For some crazy reason there are some people out there who tend to overlook this place. We don't understand why. It's one of the most important locations in the early days of the American revolution. Even the Boston Tea Party was planned here.”

“I just moved to renew, an apartment complex nearby, and have been exploring this neighborhood. I love to have history next door to me, my family and I will be coming back.”
“Great venue! Restaurant is attached, the blackend salmon was good. next.
The acoustics vary, up close is better, and there are side bars so on the side is convenient.
Good views from almost everywhere in the hall.”
“We attended this in Boston in a castle, which was a pretty cool experience. The Moonwalkers was fantastic. I loved everything - the story, the technology, the graphics, pictures, venue! They did a really good job telling the story with the history. I loved the imagery and really felt like we were on a rocket and walking on the moon!”
“I discovered this pottery studio back in February and have completed two class series so far—one beginner and one intermediate. Both instructors were incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I’ve learned so much and absolutely love this studio! I’ll definitely be back for more classes in the future.”

“Many community events are here. My favorite is "Vòng Tay Cha Mẹ Việt," which celebrates New Year 2024 for Vietnamese parents with disabled children. It showcases many talented kids and is fun and the best."”
“The location - amazing. Loved the common area with plentiful water, snacks, fridge. Our room with ensuite was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly. Also loved how we were able to store our luggage the day we checked out. Breakfast was yummy (thank you for accommodating my diet requests!) The value of our money felt well spent here. 10/10 would recommend to others and come back again!”
“This place is an absolutely gorgeous wedding venue. It’s a historical building with beautiful grounds that you would never expect to be in Watertown. We did a hotel block right next door at the Hampton inn - some of our guests walked back to the hotel after the wedding which was super convenient!! We felt comfortable not booking a shuttle for that reason. Additionally, the shopping plaza next door provides several options for an after party location ?
I have to agree with one of the previous reviews stating that the staff is there to protect the mansion, not to ensure you have a great wedding day. We hired a wedding planner who advocated for us throughout the planning process and was a huge help the day of the wedding. I truly do not think we would have had such an enjoyable day without her - you absolutely should budget for someone like this if you book this venue.
Despite the gorgeous vineyard-lined ceremony area, you need to expect some less than ideal weather for this location. This means coming up with a weather plan that you are excited about. We had incredible weather, but the forecast was touch and go, and I was so stressed that we would have to go with plan B, which we weren’t excited about at all. This plan requires working with your catering team (the biggest expense of all…), so you should not be afraid to tell them what you want and don’t want in the event of inclement weather.
Do I regret having our wedding here? Absolutely not
Would I recommend it as a wedding venue? I’m not so sure.
Definitely do your research into the catering expenses before you book - and seek out a planner to do some vetting before you book here - this could help you anticipate expenses and understand the nuances to hosting an event at a city-run facility.”
