Best bagel I've ever

This used to be the best bagel place in town and every Saturday morning I would drive clear across town to get bagels and coffee for my wife and family. Einstein's used to be a Wayland gathering place where friends would meet for breakfast and families would eat bagels before sporting events. Not now, apparently new management (we liked the former people running the store) has decided that a barren floor sitting there with no purpose, is better for its patrons. Their anti-friendly atmosphere goes quite well with the stoic impersonal robotic people behind the counter. And you can tell that the bean-counters have made their mark as well. The spinach bagel and the apple bagel (the ones I purchased) had 1/3 the topping that they once contained. Will I be going back there, not so much!

Abiance was pretty terrible seeing as there was no actual seating. They were clearly very understaffed so it took a few minutes of waiting to get to the front of the line then stood at the front for 5 minutes before my order being taken which mind you they somehow messed up. If I don't specify what flavor cream cheese just assume plain rather than obsessing over it and forgetting 2/3s of my bagel. Asiago bagel, creme cheese lettuce and tomato. That is what I said. I received a toasted Asiago with creme cheese. Did I say toasted? Did I say blueberry crème cheese? No so put plain on and don't toast is if I didn't specify. How difficult is it truly ? Let's not also forget it took them 5 minutes after I got my bagel to even pay for it. Pretty shit experience overall. Waste of time and money.

"But now she's gone and I don't worry 'Cause I'm sitting on top of the world" (B.B. King) There'll be no sitting in Einstein Brothers Bagels, because you'll find neither tables nor chairs in their sizable but barren dining room. They are still in socially distant Pandemic Mode. But what you WILL find are bagels, tons of bagel choices. Gourmet Bagels. Signature Bagels. Classic Bagels. Twenty-five different bagels. Actually, twenty-six if you count there beef-flavored Doggie Bagel (not for human consumption). We skipped the bagel/egg and bagel/deli sandwiches and went with two bagels and cream cheese. I went with a toasted Green Chile Gourmet Bagel with a schmear of Jalapeno Salsa Reduced Fat Creme Cheese. It was delicious, with a melted blanket of green chilies and cheese on top and a spicy spread of savory cream cheese in the middle. My wife ordered an Everything Bagel with Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese and she enjoyed it a lot. We didn't let the lack of in-house seating deter us, ordered our $9 lunch, and enjoyed it in our vehicle.

Ordered their Ham and Swiss on a plain bagel. The sandwich had flavor, unlike the neighbor next door. Unfortunately, the ham was overwhelmingly salty and the bagel wasn't toasted as Ordered. Disappointing experience. Barely luke warm coffee topped off my first $11 visit. Doubt I'll be back.

I hadn't been to Einstein's in about a year as I moved away. I was very disappointed to find that I would have to eat my bagel in my car. All of the tables were gone. My bagel sandwich was good, but the coffee was cold. I told the server at the register my coffee was cold and he told me that they just finished making a new pot. He turned around, walked away, and did not offer me a new cup. How I was supposed to put fresh, hot coffee in my cup is beyond me! I just left the cold cup of coffee on the counter and walked off disgusted. I won't be going back again when visiting family. It used to be my favorite bagel shop!

Okay I never leave reviews but I saw so many negative ones and I had the best experience yesterday so I felt compelled. I ordered 12 of their gourmet sandwiches at 6am right when they opened and when I got there I expected to be waiting a bit but everything was all ready and boxed up and labeled and the man behind the counter was so kind. And the sandwiches... were so effing good. It made everyone's day at work. Thank you

I have not been to this location before but my wife sent me out for a dozen bagels. I was there right when they opened at 6:30am. They had every bagel available on a Sunday too right as they opened. It was $18 for a dozen and 2 tubs of cream cheese which I thought was a good price. The man who opened the door for me I think was the manager who was very nice. We will be back.

Best place EVER! The employees are always super friendly and happy to see you. Their bagels are AMAZING and the schmears and cream cheese are just out of this world. I didn't know the pure bliss that is a good bagel untill I came here, now I'm hooked. Their fresh juices are the best. I can't say enough good things about this place. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by. They treat you like family that always sends you on your way with great food.

I was excited to see that they were able to source their Einstein Bagel brand cream cheese again. But then when I tried it, I think they got a new supplier and it's not as good as the old stuff. Bummer!

My first time there everything on menu looked awesome well I ordered the 6 sandwiches which showed 5 on plain bagel and 1 on everything which is the one I wanted but anyways I called back and a kid answered I explained what happened and he said I just got in so I asked for manager and he told me I can't control what's on the menu and at that time the kid made them on all plain and they did have everything when I was picking order up any who it would of been ok if he apologized and said well if you like I can make you another and bring other one back even though I would of said that's ok I will keep it the point was he wasn't trying to fix the issue so he needs more customer service training and he needs to smile and when I walked in no greeting very dull

The bagels and sandwiches are pretty good, but the place is run poorly. The second time my mobile order has "not been received". The first time, the manager was apologetic but the second time it happened staff was defensive and questioned us even after being presented with proof of order and payment. Not the customer's fault if your mobile app doesn't work well. Own it and make it right and fix it with corporate. Especially when you don't even offer in-store dining anymore which is silly at this point.

Don't waste your time. Went in 7 minutes before they closed and asked for egg sandwich with no pepper. He said the machine is broken. Then worker said they were closed. Terrible. Hopefully they close and something better opens in this location.

My favorite bagels. The only problem is no seating which was closed during covid but they decided not to open the seating again. Terrible mistake since the area people love to come in for a bagel and a cup of coffee. Of course this also effects the breakfast and lunch people since they offer wonderful bagel sandwiches. Guess we will have to go somewhere else. Bad decision. Please open the seating as the PANDEMIC APPEARS TO BE OVER. We want to sit and relax with our bagels and coffee. Also, please consider all the elderly and handicapped people who come in thinking that they are going to sit down for a good bagel and something to drink. Very disappointing. Change your decision not to open seating please.

The breakfast sandwiches are really good and made in a timely manner. The bagel selection is great. Giving 4 stars because the prices are outrageous. Great place for a quick breakfast sandwich though.
