This particular Walgreens was very friendly unhelpful in the prescriptions department. I will go back there again!

Vicki, either in management or photo, is amazing. She gave me a high quality product despite small hiccups with the technology.

I’m a frequent customer at a lot of Walgreen stores, and this store was the WORST experience I’ve ever had.
At the checkout when I presented my Walgreens card on my phone, the old lady at the cash register refused to scan my Walgreens card and asked me what that was, and I told her it’s my Walgreens card, but she said it’s not. Then I asked what do you mean it’s not, this is my Walgreens card. But she said it’s not the physical card, you need a physical card and refused to scan it.
I’ve never had any Walgreens cashier refused to scan my card on my phone before. But she insisted she won’t scan anything on phones, and wanted me to key in my phone number on the key pad only. However, I tried to key in my phone number THREE times, but she said there’s nothing in the system, and asked me if there’s another number. I even logged Walgreens APP to verify that’s the number I have associated with my Walgreens card and showed it to her, but she just said not the right number. Then I said “my phone number doesn’t work and you don’t want to scan my card on my phone. Then how should I give my Walgreens card? And why couldn’t you just scan my card on my phone like all other stores?” She said no she won’t scan anything on phones, because her manager told her never scan anything on phones. I asked her why? She said because there are a lot of scams. I felt so offended at this point, this is like saying we are scammers by presenting a shop rewards card in an electronic form. I can’t believe this funny thing can happen on the use of a store rewards card on phones, in the reality today’s people can already scan codes on phones to board planes and make payments. Who still carry bunch of rewards or membership cards of different stores these days?
I don’t know what’s wrong with this store’s manager or how they train their employees. This was the most ridiculous store and salesperson I’ve ever seen.
Anyway, I asked, “you don’t scan my card, nor my phone number can locate my Walgreens card. Is there other way I can present my card?” She said she can just put a card in. I said I need to use my card because I want to redeem my Walgreens cash for my purchase. She said “you won’t be able to use Walgreens cash because your purchase is only $4 and it needs to be more than $5 to use Walgreens rewards cash on your card.” This is also ridiculous. You can use $1, $2, $3 and so on, as I know.
After all, I asked her to let me try to put my old phone number and see. Then that number worked. Finally I got to use my Walgreens card and the Walgreens reward cash. Then she said now you should update your Walgreens phone number to this number that worked. Wow then applause to their system, that’s my old number for years ago that I don’t use anymore, and I’m pretty sure because of this, I updated with my new number in Walgreens APP, but don’t work when keyed in. And she want me to update it back to the old number?
What a ridiculous shopping experience at this store? This shouldn’t be this complicated at the beginning by just simply scan customer’s card on their phones like all other places, to avoid frustrating customers, and exposing flaws in their system that failed to links customers updated phone number and discard old ones.

I like this Walgreens because it feels more like a family business, it has some things CVS doesn't carry, and really has everything I need. The pharmacy also carries some medications CVS doesn't, and it is conveniently located. This is a great business to support.

The staff female employee working at this time at the front counter was very rude. I normally give people the benefit of the doubt - but this has been the 3rd time I've been here and the same poor attitude. Just ruins my day - will look to CVS around the corner.

Visited the store on a weekday afternoon and encountered uncooperative staff. I informed the employee that I had an online order to pick up, but she seemed reluctant to assist. After a minute of delay, she reluctantly got up from her chair, displaying an annoyed attitude. When I provided my first name, she took five minutes to search for my order and claimed she couldn't find it. However, I had spotted the bag with my name on the shelf (formatted as Last Name, First Name). I pointed it out, but she insisted it wasn't mine, stating that the first name didn't match. It was clear that she had mistaken my last name for my first name and confused herself. Throughout the interaction, she repeatedly mentioned that she had asked for my first name and I had provided my last name. What added to the frustration was her pretense of not understanding my English when she asked when I had placed the order. This wasted around 10 minutes of my time, and the overall experience was disappointing. If the staff is unwilling to work, it would be better if they refrained from doing so.

My daughter has been trying to get a prescription renewed all week. Her doc had been sending scripts that Walgreens does not receive. She has never had a problem with her doc before. She now has to divide her dose in half so she won’t experience withdrawal symptoms. We are switching to CVS.

Walgreens brand bold state 100% satisfaction guaranteed. But if you returns something after 90 days they refuse. Even if it isn't used. Even if it is a Walgreens branded product. That states in black and white 100% satisfaction guaranteed with no qualifications. It's obviously false that they guarantee anything. So when you see the Walgreens guarantee, take it with a grain of salt. It isn't true.

Store closed in 10 minutes. Walk into the store, cashier screaming from register: REGISTER CLOSES IN 2 MINUTES. Ok calm down Karen, not like we walked in a minute before closing.

Have used this pharmacy when it was Rite Aid, many years ago. Transition to Walgreens was somewhat rough, but pharmacy service in particular seemed to stabilize until recently when multiple personnel changes have occurred, one apparently recently resulting in closure of pharmacy service for nearly a full weekend because as one staff member said when I asked why, "no pharmacist." Clients were referred to an inconvenient location in Framingham for service during the closure. An in-store posting about new pharmacy practices may also partially explain a series of recent reports that relatively common prescription drugs (non-controlled) were not available "same day": some prescriptions are apparently being filled off-site. Hope that things will again stabilize; location is convenient and pharmacy staff is generally friendly and helpful. This location has been a "neighborhood" pharmacy for years; I hope corporate practices and local staffing issues won't change that.

Be very weary of this location and Walgreens in general. They sold me a bogus gift card and pocketed the cash. I spoke with Ebay who confirmed the card was used prior to me purchasing. When i tried to report it to Walgreens Customer Service they just consistently blew me off. Do not trust this location or company.

In general I avoid this location because 1. It’s very dusty ( including the shelves) 2. Many items are more expensive - compared to cvs.Having said this, the pharmacist is nice and is super helpful.

Small cozy store with a pharmacy that's always buzzing. Friendly staff, short lines, easy in and out. The pharmacy is fantastic and has helped me with OTC allergy med questions and other things. Yelena the head pharmacist and her staff has many regulars they takes care of. Big difference from CVS on 27 which was a circus.

Today the sales lady Debbie didn't remind an associate to wear his mask while he was purchasing items. This is the second time I've witnessed no masks and no suggestion to wear masks by Walgreens Wayland employees. The first time was the manager allowing a delivery man to review pkg deliveries just inside the front door.
