This guy is EASILY the worst person I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He came recommended by another mechanic who had too much on his plate and the scope of work fell under his capabilities, which is how I ended up there. I completely regret it. He takes the car on, never provides any updates and when you call him for an update he angrily responds that he "can't provide a timeline" in which he'll not only resume working on it, but a rough idea as to when it will be done. He's combative in nature and clearly should've retired years ago if he's going to treat customers this way. "Hi Cliff, just checking in to see when my car might get done so I can plan ahead..." "I' can't give you that"...he says...he did this for months on end...MONTHS. It was always something..."its been too hot to work on your car"...its been too rainy these past few weeks"..."that part you needed was delayed and it really set me back so I stopped working on it"..."I'm at the dentist"...all things he came back with when I politely asked for an update on my vehicle, MONTHS later mind you, as a paying customer...I then offered to remove part of the job off his plate by hiring another guy to complete it (he then grumbles about this and gives the guy a hard time for requesting to complete the work on his lot! You can't make this stuff up...)...cut and dry personality defect - its that simple. Its simply worth going out of your way to find another auto body and let this guy be miserable without any business coming his way.

I purchased a complete exhaust system, cats and everything back for my Toyota Tundra from a Toyota dealer. All pipes, clamps hardware, etc. Everything Toyota OEM. I stopped by Auto Service Plus to see if they would be interested in installing it. I asked for an estimate and was told that the cost would be based on time required. Honestly, I felt a little uncomfortable with this answer and should have pressed a bit more to at least get a range but felt like it would be reasonable. Long story - short, when I went to pick up my vehicle, I was told that they had to drill out three studs and that he struggled to get the pipes to fit. (To be specific, not the manifold studs, the studs that connect the front pipe to the end of the manifold pipe. And, the studs that were replaced had easy access). Again, All OEM parts from a Toyota dealer. He told me he had eight hours on the job and that the cost would be $600.00. Since then, I have spoken with the dealer and two independent local shops and the consensus is that the time spent to complete this job was extremely excessive. (One local shop even put my truck on a lift to have a look). Now, I can't verify that it did or did not take the amount of time that I was charged because I wasn't there to watch, but based on the work completed, and talking to other local qualified shops, I feel like I was overcharged. My recommendation would be to proceed with caution if you choose to have work done here.
