Never made it out of the car, because three dogs were let loose at the entrance when I pulled in.
This is NOT a dog park.
I came here to move my legs after a conference at the college, but I had to leave to go elsewhere because my medical condition makes me incredibly fragile, and these unleashed and “friendly” dogs would certainly have jumped on me. They jumped on everyone walking by.
This isn’t your back yard people.
This kind of behavior is RUDE and inconsiderate, and also ableist.
I hope fines are posted to go with the notice on dog control, which everyone ignored.
As I write this, two more big dogs have been unleashed. ?♀️
Dog-friendliness: Rude people just pull in and unleash their dogs. Need better policing so human beings aren’t overrun with pets and are able to use the space freely.

Mid sized park with good trails, with swamp, meadows and forest. Perfect for dog walks.
Dog-friendliness: Great for dog walks. No rubbish bins.

Dog-friendliness: A great community of dog owners - last time we visited the place, an apparently lost dog was running around looking for its owner. Another visitor to the park caught the dog, called the number that was on it's collar and contacted the owner that apparently was away and a dog walker was the one that took the dog to the park. The owner was able to call the dog walker and direct him to where the finder of the dog was waiting for him with the animal. Happy ending to a story that could have turned out bad elsewhere.

Awesome place for a short hike with a furry friend! There's lot's of space and most dogs roam off leash. The parking lot is pretty small tho 15-20 spots
Dog-friendliness: Very!

Edit: I changed my rating from 4 ? to 5 ?. The expansive forest trails really do make this an excellent park to visit time and time again without feeling repetitive. Wonderful park!

Great place to walk your dog. There are a few trails that can all be done in an hour.

I have no idea how I missed reviewing this great park, but it is a terrific park hiding in Wellesley next to Mass Bay CC, and since the Beloved Goldendoodle passed away last year I have been bringing a friend's dog here so I can still have my "dog time". Most of the people are friendly, there are nice dogs of all sizes to greet and there is a mix of flat and hilly areas depending on your dog's energy level (and yours).Tip: avoid the pond area, it is pretty swampy!

One of my favorite places to take my dog! In the summers, she really enjoys the pond.

A nice park for people to walk dogs. There are paths to explore and a pond the dogs can run, play, and swim in. But if you want to walk in pristine natural surroundings, this isn't the place. The landscape ilooks worn and tired from decades of heavy use. There is a large field - but it is filled with angry plants with burrs and sharp edges.
