The employees charged $70 for a 2 hour appointment. Although the nails took 2 hours to complete, they looked shaky and unprofessional. I did go back to ask for some money back because the window outside said $40 for dip and tip. The employees said no and explained the reason of the cost which overall made no sense. I would not recommend getting your nails done at Mass Nails and I had a horrible experience. The vibe was not what I expected and not what I was hoping for. I would like to say I typically don't write reviews but this was the most terrible experience I've had getting my nails done. The typical length of time for tips and dip is 30 minutes, nothing near the 2 hours of my time wasted. These nails weren't worth $70 and I wish I could get some money back especially since I was told a completely different price when I first sat down. Do not get your nails done here. Would not recommend.

PLEASE RECONSIDER GOING HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH. Wellesley Board of Health needs to investigate. I recently visited Mass Nails on a Sunday for a pedicure. The person prepared the tub for me and then proceeded to use the pedicure tools she had just used on a customer seated next to me without disinfecting or even attempting to clean them! When I objected because they were dirty, she relented. There was a language barrier so I’m not even sure she understood why it was dangerous. She then tried to use a dirty large callous file on my feet after she used the same one on the same customer minutes before! There was still skin from the prior customer in the file! She then rushed me out, painted my toes and charged me an upcharge for the color (when I made it clear to her I wanted the regular color, not the nor more expensive performance). She never applied lotion to my legs, etc. it was truly the very worst, rushed and most dangerous pedicure I’ve ever had! I’ve never had this woman perform a pedi on me before at this place, so she might be new. The other technicians have always been really good. But these are obvious sanitary violations and can cause infections or even hepatitis!! This need to be investigated by the local Board of Health.

they did not disinfect any instruments or the tub before my pedicure. There was a customer seated next to me who just finished her pedi and the technician scooped up all of the used and dirty pedi tools and put them on my tray.No cleaning, no disinfecting! she didn't even seem to be aware that they needed to be disinfected!! I attempted to tell her but it was difficult with the language barrier. The large callous file contained dead skin from the customer she had just finished with!! naturally, I didn't let her use it on me! the pedi was terrible and she didn't clean my nails or even apply lotion! She then proceeded to charge me extra at the end for the color I chose (when beforehand I made it clear that I wanted the regular included priced color and not the more expensive performance polish)! never again! disgusting and the worst experience I've ever had with a pedicure! I knew they were always a little "unclean" but I assumed that they disinfectEd their instruments and tools!! NOPE! Wellesley BOH will be notified.

I have tried so many nail salons over the years in the greater Natick area. Mass Nails in Wellesley is by far the best I have ever gone to. Not because they are the most upscale or trendiest, but because they truly value their clients. They do a great job, are flexible and accommodating. My stylist, Jenny, is fabulous. The owner, Marisa, is warm and welcoming. There is not much to differentiate one salon from another. But the one attribute I find most lacking is how much value is put on your business. Mass Nails makes you feel appreciated. And, they do a great job on your nails and toes! Eileen

this is without a doubt the worst, most unethical nail salon. we paid for nail tips and dip--the nails were uneven and poorly done. When we called the manager to ask for them to be redone, they scheduled an appointment, then charged us again (twice in two days) to have them redone. Then the blamed us for things being wrong. They are rude, angry, not customer focused, and terrible at their jobs. Do not waste your money.
