My mom went in to replace her broken iphone with a new one. The salesman (Mike I believe) ended up talking her into a "deal" that involved a completely free new iphone and ipad. She was very skeptical but he insisted it would be free. Turns out her bill more than doubled, the phone wasn't free, he added two new lines of service and it took several trips back, multiple calls to Verizon and it's still not fully fixed. This is why I just order new phones online.
My mom also left her old phone that was to be used as a trade in there at the store, but the store lost that phone. She was supposed to be able to trade it in for a credit but she's out of luck there as well. This has been quite a costly "free" phone, between the lost old phone, the new phone that she's being charged for and the many hours it took trying to fix this.

I stopped in to this store, desperately in need of a new charging cable for my iPhone 14 Pro. The staff member told me that they don’t make a charger for that model anymore, and when I asked what I was supposed to do he told me to go to CVS. Not very helpful! I then found another Verizon store a few miles away, and a very helpful employee got me what I needed in a matter of minutes.

Staff is totally clueless. I ordered an iPhone 16 pro max or at least that’s what I told him I wanted. I got a voicemail on a Thursday afternoon on my way out of town for the weekend saying my phone was in and ready to be picked up. Showed up Monday and was told that they had been calling me all week and because I didn’t respond, they sent the phone back. I know this is bull because I have a log of all the calls to my phone. Whatever…. The manager now reordered the phone and has it shipped to my house. When I finally open the box I realize it’s the small version not the pro max and it was ordered wrong to begin with. I brought the phone back to the store hoping to exchange it but now I’m told that because the max is back ordered and it won’t be in until after the 30 day exchange period they need to consult with the manager and he will call me. After a week with no call I go down to the store again, wait another 30 minutes to be told now that I have to go online and send it back myself
Next time…. Just go to the Apple Store.

Isaiah and Jonathon in less than seven minutes solved a problem that I had worked through 4!!!! separate Verizon customer service reps on the phone with. Unbelievable customer service with these guys. Grateful for them, stepping in and solving the problem instantly. Verizon needs more people like these guys!
