I’ve been going to Laxsmi for years and purchased many items of jewelry as gifts. There are some great choices.
Recently I bought a leather bag for my wife’s birthday and she loved it. I also bought her a sun hat that turned out to have a hole in it. The tags had been removed but I kept them. When I went to return the damaged item, the owner refused to accept the return because the tags had been removed. She said it could have been worn and the sweatband could be dirty. A careful inspection would have revealed it was not dirty but brand new and unworn.
Not a particularly friendly owner with a poor business model. To hold on to the $36 for the price of a hat she has lost a customer that would probably spend many hundreds more in gifts through the coming years.
But I’ll never shop there again and will recommend the same to my visiting friends.

I was in this lovely shop in May and found a couple of my most-complimented outfits of the summer! The store owner was very helpful and gave me space, which I greatly appreciated. Can't wait to go back!

This shop has so many beautiful, high quality items, including gifts for reasonable prices. I love her wide range of jewelry, leather goods and clothing in gorgeous fabrics. The owner is always warm and helpful. We shop here every year and find many gifts for friends and family.

Owner/ employee working today was SO unbelievably rude. Do not give this person your business. Encountered others on the street saying how rude she was. Also she refused to give me the name of the artist that she was showing there. His name is Matt Adrian. Buy his art online instead of here. And stop rolling your eyes at your customers. Unbelievable!!!!

Every time I go there I find something beautiful. The owner is amazing, so nice ,she has great taste her products are stunning. Leather bags ,scarfs, clothing, jeweler,plant rooters are so pretty I have 4 .So many home items as well . There are many other Nike nacs this store is a must !!!

Would give no stars if that was possible!! Only leaving a review to warn others, if you have your children with you don’t bother going into this store! This woman clearly does not like kids! I went in looking around with my 4 year old daughter who held my hand the entire time, after looking around down stairs I wanted to check out the second floor. I had one foot on the step to go up and she yells over to me that kids aren’t allowed upstairs. Seriously?? I wasn’t sending her up there alone. She was still holding my hand. I was offended and felt discriminated against. I told my daughter come on let’s go. As I was walking out the door I looked back and she was shaking her head and making a disgusted face. I can see from other reviews that she is rude and has issues with kids.

Laxmi is such a nice and welcoming person, and the store is full of such pretty and unusual things. I always find something charming there and love the clothes.

Bought pearl bracelet for Mother’s day and after a week clasp turned black, came to return and clerk pointed to 7 day return policy. I had 12 weeks old baby in a car with daddy so wasn’t going to waste my time and energy on fighting her. In what world you don’t have 30 days to return? She is rude as previous reviews stated. Planning to redeem my store credit this summer and never enter the store again.

My husband and I absolutely love this shop and stop by whenever we are on the Cape. There is something here for everyone! We always find something we like and it is a great store to buy unique, beautiful gifts. Most everything is hand made ❤️

Was prepared to spend quite a bit of money in this boutique. Unfortunately, the clerk was so rude to my 10 year old daughter that we left. Will never spend “tourist “ money with shops who don’t treat customers well.
