Michael in referrals doesn't return calls to doctors offices, or to patients seeking updated referrals. The staff at outer cape are rude, and incompetent. If you complain or correct them they will accuse you of yelling at them. Outer cape is a bad choice for healthcare.

My np left so i was reassigned a new dr. They wanted to set up a meet and greet appointment- i went now I’m billed for this and the few things i ask for at the appointment were not addressed. Ex: a referral- test resultsTHIS PLACE HAS GONE DOWN HILLhow about i dont want to pay!

I almost never bother with reviews of this kind - either reading or writing them - but in this case I felt compelled to make an exception. While on vacation in Wellfleet recently, I visited the center twice to tend to a flare-up of an old medical problem. I found the facility immaculately clean and efficiently run and the treatment both professional and effective in every respect. Really - about as good as it gets all around. Highly recommend.

They billed my husband and I for vaccines when it should have been run through insurance. The person on the phone, when I informed them that I left a voicemail 19 days ago and have not heard back, vented to me about how they have had to handle 170 phone calls today. She then curtly told me that the billing staff had all left for the day, and I should have called earlier; well I did, I had to wait on hold for 45 minutes. I'll revise my review if/when they revise the billing and inform us that we were incorrectly billed. Either way, it's concerning that they had a "systemwide error" where they billed everyone out of pocket, and now they are in a situation where they could be inadvertently double billing patients.Update: they let me know they now have run this through insurance. Despite giving all my insurance info at the time of the vaccine, I had to give them all my info again.

I literally have no luck with this place and filling prescriptions. now my doctor is on vacation and can't even see my request until my prescription is empty and there's nothing they can do because of their awful computer system they keep "updating". not really an issue as I can call tomorrow and make the request again since the "updated" computer system can't seem.to hang on to a request for more than a business day but hey we're only forced to use these guys right?

If I could give zero stars I would. Thought it was great, as everyone was so friendly. But everything was screwed up and not a single person got back to us. To start, they sent my son's script to the wrong pharmacy, AND didn't give them our phone number, so the pharmacy could not call us to say they were out of the meds. We found out after driving to Orleans to CVS and they had no order....Then to drive back to Wellfleet to their pharmacy just to learn they were out. Then we placed FIVE phone calls the next day to verify the dosage, and each time were told someone would call us back. It's now 24 hours after my son was seen, and he STILL has not started the medicine, because apparently this office is too incompetent to send the script to the correct pharmacy, and call someone back. I will never come here again, I'd rather drive farther away to get competent care.

Do not use them for Covid Travel testing. On Thursday morning I took a Covid Travel PCR test ($110), and was told I would have the results within 24-48 hours. It took over 55 hours for my results to come back and by then I had missed my flight. When I called after the 48 hours I was told an on-call nurse would call me back within an hour, several hours later no one has called me and no one answers their phone now/during this weekend. Their answering machine provided the number to the Quest Lab, and the Quest lab is not available on weekends. Better to drive to Ptown or Hyannis for better service.Update - Over a week later and no one at Wellfleet Outer Cape has called me back or returned my emails despite my several follow-ups. When I call I am told the Covid coordinator will call me back, and he/she never does.

On Friday, July 12, 2020 circa 2:43 pm I arrived to this facility for Quest Lab. services. I was met by a screening agent outside who demonstrated rude attitudes and verbal disrespect towards me regarding the process of registering for services. The young women spoke with discontent, short but not sweet answers to my confusion on registering. She had an attitude in her tone and representation. Excellent staff. My Nurse Practitioner spent time with me and answered all my questions. The front desk is efficient and professional. They respond to questions and return phone calls in a timely manner. l left Emerald Physicians because they had become so impossible to communicate with and so impersonal. I am very happy with Outer Cape Health Services.

I love the new Harwich Office. I see Matthew Libby, Adria Kennedy, Diana Windgren, and occasionally a few other providers here and every single one of them has amazed me. This is top notch health services.
