I picture heaven to be Tendercrop Farm. The butchers are absolute pros, and you'll find some of the best quality beef in the world here. The baked goods are all top notch, but reach for the M&M cookies and thank me later. The fruits and vegetables also cannot be beat. Tomato season here is worth a pilgrimage from near and far.

I've bought meat at Tendercrop Newburyport , as well as wenham and the quality as well as the service has gone down in past 4 years. Yesterday I bought stew beef at Wenham store and it was absolutely the worst I have ever seen- it looked, after I got it open from the twisted up bag maybe to cover what was inside, like trimmings that were being thrown out!! I had to make dinner so I tried trimming it , but could not save but a few small pieces. This messed up my dinner for 2 nights now and I'm angry. A place with some much excellent meat yet the people they chose to work the counters seem to go out of there way to screw up the product . The Hamburg was the best around- diet lean. Now it's 9 dollars a pound and loaded up with ground fat filler. Wow, what a bummer. Bob Festa. Ipswich.

I have found that the produce from here either don't last more than a few days or they have worms or are mushy inside. My last purchase of peaches and apples was the last straw for me. Getting local meat was a big draw for me when I discovered Tendercrop, but the quality is hit or miss. The prices of everything are significantly more for the same products you can get at a grocery store, even a pricier one like Whole Foods. I really love supporting local markets, but I can't really justify going here anymore. To give them some credit, chicken and vegetable pot pies are good.

BEWARE!!!!!! They sold me burnt cookies rock hard. The whole shelf was full of bags of 8 dollar cookies they wanted to make money off of their duds!!!!! I’ve also bought strawberries and blueberries with moldy ones hidden underneath. Making customers pay for things they can’t eat.

I shop at Tendercrop a lot but today I was there and one of the immigrants working turned her head to the side and spit onto the floor. I told the cashier what I had just seen and she just said " the problem is none of them speak English"When I got home I called the manager to explain what I saw and wondered what else was being spit on in the store. The manager basically told me in so many words that she doesn't believe me and she is defending this girl but that she would check her security camera. I know what I saw and it was gross. I probably will not go back.

My all time favorite place to go! Each location is unique with good options, the staff are friendly, and the food is top notch. I get almost all my groceries here. Prices are reasonable and everything is top of the line. Cannot say enough good about them!

Excellent farm stand, the best lettuce we have seen anywhere. The corn is tasty, the heirloom tomatoes are delicious, the eggs are fresh. Haven't tried the meats from their butcher shop, but they look really good.

What a cute, quaint farm stand/grocery! My friend brought me here after a bike ride and I was amazed by the selection and prices. Farm fresh eggs are only $3.99/dozen- which is an incredible deal! The store has a large greenhouse with gorgeous flowers. There is a wide selection of produce- mostly from Tendercrop, but some from other places. The prices were very reasonable and the quality was spectacular. There is a butcher shop and a. Extensive selection of baked goods- including many gluten free options. I purchased a slice of Raspberry Crumb cake, strawberry rhubarb turnovers, and some Shark gummies. The crumb cake was buttery and rich, and the turnovers were light and flaky. The gummies were a gift for someone else, but they said they were probably the softest/freshest gummies they've ever had. I highly recommend stopping at the store & look forward to my next visit!

Everything is just right. The dried flowers are beautiful. The downstairs, the fresh cut beef, the pork all of it is quite delicious. The people are wonderful. The counter help very pleasant. Never bought any plants or anything this year. I may in fact buy a tomato plant

Hands down the best place for farmed eggs and locally sourced pork meat. I particularly like the variety of fresh vegetables, too. Ever since Russo's closed, this has become my favorite place for food shopping although it's much farther. It's certainly worth a trip.

Just enjoying a Turkey pot pie I picked up in their frozen food section. Real Thanksgiving flavors! They also have a great selection of pastries, fresh produce, and plants. Always a treat .

The crops are fresh and cleaned. The variety of products amazed me. If not because my freezer is full already, I would definitely bought more stuff home today.Support local business..
